Lack of permission. Okay so every cache owner is supposed to go into a Walmart or whatever before placing one in their parking lot?

Mine was marked DNF twice before someone actually found it and then it went off like a rocket. I never moved it, I think it just takes sometime.

Hey all, I just started Geocaching in September and took the winter off from November until this past week since I live in Minnesota. Way too cold to cache for me. Anyway I have had issues logging into the forum and just figured it out tonight.

So I live in a city where a good chunk of our caches are urban so it makes me wonder where is actually okay to place a cache in a city? Many get put in the bases of light posts but is that really okay? What's in violation of violating a private establishment's property?

Many Geocoins never get logged and some get mad that they aren't but what's the possibility of newbie picking one up thinking it's cool swag and not knowing they are supposed to log it? The only reason I knew what Travelbug was when I found it because I had done allot of research on them beforehand.

Okay I just wasn't sure what was customary.

So I made my Geocaching account via Facebook and there isn't a option to do that with the forums. Just to login in here I had to sign out of the Geocaching site, claim I forgot my password and then change it on my account from there. Very inconvenient and confusing.

Still fairly new to travel bugs and trackers. I have only found one so far. Anyway so my question is it fair to take multiple bugs or trackers if you leave the equivalent amount of swag? 3 bugs for three toys or whatever?
