Hi all thanks for the replies yes my pda and gps work ok with Tom tom it finds it in seconds few but when i use mem map i get now gps communication time out on the nmea setting Chris

Hi whats gps gate when you go to gps on memmap it list lots of gps but not the name of mine so i cant get it to setup chrisP

Hi All Ive recently purchased a fusion GPS to work with tom tom on my PDA3790 but i cant get it to work with mem map because it dosent come up in the type of gps in mem map has anybody overcome this yet? ChrisP

Yeah i tried using mm it was very slow i also tried coping the file directly onto the memory card direct still no joy what sort of card reader do you mean not being technically minded thanxs for prompt replies Chris

hello all Does anybody else have problems saving memory maps to SD cards i can get Dartmoor on it but cant get the south west map to transfer Dartmoor is 49mbs and sw is 173 it just seems to go on for ages and then says it cant do it im saving to a compact 3970 ppc Chris

Hello All Has anybody tried using an ipod for paperless caching yet i can save caches as text formats in the notes section but is there an easier way of doing it ie with GSAK yours chrisP
