Beta Test

I am currently pondering making a chache that is much like a tb. Each person who finds it will move it and place the coordinates and hints for where they left it. Does anyone have any input they would like to say about this? good idea bad?

my pocketknife fell out of my pocket while i was squatting in the bushes to find this cache. Came back the next day after a tremendous rainstorm to find it soaked and caked in mud, plus the hinge (it was a folder) had sand in it. Cleaned it out good though, as Wd-40, like duct tape will fix just about anything.

Now what i really want to know is if anybody tried to play some mind games. you know hide behind a log and make noises or throw rocks or something? just curious

I agree with hartclimbs about the software update. i also have noticed that the 120 does lock up or freak out a lot when there are rock faces or other natural structures that can bounce a signal. i belive that it has something to do with the double(or is it quad?)-helix antennae confusing itself. Something else i noticed is that the goto needle spins like crazy sometimes. Yes its a good produst, but it does have problems

I've been thinking about making a cache that is completly underwater all year round. Mabey a small boat trip, or just wading to the cache. Or the cache could have a floatig bouy, or be on a water channel marker. Any thoughts?

nope not a paintball game there were gov vehicles along with signs that said war games in progress pointed in the direction i was traveling so i couldnt see them. they were facing sturgis as the bike rally was a few days away. Oh and Shawhh i know how swampy eastern nc can be as im from se va but these guys must have been reserves because they didnt see me in my bright red shirt. When in doubt, empty the magazine.

gotta agree with WVDan, if you can establish the fact that you were in mortal fear in court, thats a reason enough to blast 'em good

Was cache hunting in South Dakota, and as I come out if a gully or ravine in the side of a hill thats just full of Beggars Lice, I am hearing some yelling in the feild ahead of me, so I figure its a football game. As I get closer to the point where i can see whats going on I can make out the word "LEFT FLANK GO GO GO WATCH YOU FIRE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!". The Army or National Gaurd were playing war games. I could see the thicket in which the cache was located. Unfortunatly it was in the middle of a bunch of people with guns. Also on the way in, I saw one government and one normal car on each side street in the area. Any similar experiencs?
