Wouldn't it be nice if drivers actually had control over their own vehicles like the good old days? Some cars have those STUPID Daytime Running Lights you can't turn off. If you put on the parking brake just right in some cars it will shut them off without actually braking the vehicle. The driver did ths on a backpacking trip I went on with my cousin and some of his buddies. We were driving front and cut our lights. Then the guys behind us scared us by cutting theirs. Oh right topic....yeah. I suppose you could cut the wires to the DLR's and leave the others in tact? Would that work?

I don't think it would work. From my understanding the GPS satalites broadcast down on Earth (LOS communication). Since They probably are not omni-directional broadcast arrays, I doubt the moon would get a stong signal, but who knows. It could happen.

I don't think they could have legally done anything to you because the gate was unlocked and there were no posted signs.

Perhaps you could make a cache container that looks like a benchmark that has been corroded and worn down over hundreds of years of time.

Maybe Coke's GPS spy can is in on it too.

OOOH took me awhile to get back. The money would to be purchase the hardware for the forum. It would be just an idea to help Groundspeak help us.

Did anyone NOT understand the original post? I seem to be the only one who doesn't understand.

When hiking I usew the GoTo screen (The one with the arrow). When I get close I just look for the cache. However the RINO 120 OS seems to freak out every now and then and the pointer is impotent and useless. That's when I use my map. Oh yeah I use the map when I think that I might not be sure if I could possibly get to the cache on the rout that I am going. I also look at the map when I am bored. The map also helps plan spur of the moment shortcuts.

The only reason that I can see for AS to close is that the original poster asked for it to be closed when it hit ten pages. I don't know if the poster changed that request, but it never did. That being said, I think that AS should have its own forum, just so people can spread out and have more fun at once. If all of the cachers who wanted this got together with Groundspeak, and worked out a donation scheme, I am sure it could happed. I am all for AS. *Note the donations would be to buy a new server to run the forum, not to buy Jeremy.
