Je crois que le WAAS est plus facile lorsque tu te rapproche des U.S.A. , il y a pas mal de gens qui ne l'ont jamais utilisé et d'autres qui on tout simplement eteint la fonction pour economiser les batteries... Personnelement, mon GPS recoit le WAAS ,. ça prend un peu de temps defois quelques minutes sans bouger , C'est sûre que ça aide parce que la distance diminue de 12 m je passe a 6mt sur mon Lowrance Ifinder. Pour ce qui est des Gps il ont tous des pour et des contres , en ce moment les plus populaires sont les Garmins et j'avoue que c,est de bonnes machines.toutez les fonctions néecéssaires sont dessus.. salut Abodude! Il y a une version francaise sur le site de Geocaching .com, tu vas dans hide & seek a cache et puis tu regarde dans la zone grise a droite c,est pas super mais ce serait une bonne idée d'en faire une. Bon Geocaching Maraudeur

Well, i just called Lowrance Canada.. Again they told me 2 to 3 weeks, but they're pretty confident about the date (Hummm, seems to me i have already heard that one before) because they have all the data already but r missing the packaging...... Anyway, maybe if we all call and ask about it they will hurry it up a bit!!!! Again, i, ve inquired about this since october or november! I've been checking with Lowrance in Ontario to see when the software is coming out, actually some already did butthey do not include Topographical maps.... So since before Chrsitmas i've been calling every week just to be told that it will take a few more weeks to get the packaging done for the complete CDs with the whole of Canada and with Topo info... The package will go for about 200.00$ Cnd I will call them again today and let you guys know. P.S. I personally won't buy the freedom maps, i"ll wait to have the whole kit and Kabooodle Maraudeur

Salut tout le monde. Moi je Geocache pour moi et non pas pour les autres...... Je me sent privilégié d'avoir ce hobby, et m'en fout pas mal si je suis tout seul à le faire. Je me sert du Geocaching pour me permettre de connaître des coins du Québec que je ne connaît pas et n,est pas besoins d'autres justifications. Je n'ai besoin que de Max (mon labrador chocolat) et moi même , et si tout le monde commence a Geocacher ily aura + de problémes avec les parcs et ou propriétères de terrains. Maraudeur

Salut Phern47 Je comprend ta frustration, par contre il est important de garder en tête la mission des SEPAQs: La Sépaq est une société d’État qui a pour mandat d’administrer et de développer des territoires naturels et des équipements touristiques qui lui sont confiés en vertu de sa loi constitutive. Elle s’est donné la mission d’assurer l’accessibilité, la mise en valeur et la protection de ces équipements publics pour le bénéfice de sa clientèle, des régions du Québec et des générations futures. En Ontario il ont 1500 caches passées, imagine que les caches soient dans les SEPAQs, ça voudrait dire qu'il y aurait beaucoup de plastiques et autres matières laissés dans des espaces, qui doivent deumeurer naturels.. Mon seul conseil est de faire des Locationless caches avec photos a l'appuie ou temoignage de l'endroit!. On n'est pas toujours obliger de faire un échange d'item sans grande valeur mais qui peuvent avoir un impact sur l'écologie si laissé aux oublies. On ne fait que passer sur la terre, essayons de la protéger pour le générations futurs. Bon Geocaching Maraudeur

Wow! Why does anything fun always have to be turned into politics.... I live in Montreal, my first language is french wich i learned in an spanish speaking country because my parents felt i was important, i also learned spanish and english.... WHY you might ask.......... BECAUSE I CAN. I don't go around asking people to translate everything.... I just feel priviledge to know 3 languages and i dont make a fuss about it. We have schools where we learn these things..... and i feel it's make sense to have a person adapt itself to the environment instead of the other way around. I love and protect french language for many reasons but i can assure you that none of them include the bill 101 or because i live in Quebec.But mostly because it's probably the most complex language to learn properly and because it 's just incredibly precise and beautiful. In Quebec we do have caches in both french and english and i have yet to read a negative comment about it So... my point is : IF none of us have made a complaint about it why do english speaking Canadians do????? I love geocaching and would hate to see it become a political issue!! If anyone needs to translate something please let me know and i will gladdly help to the best of my knowledge That's all Maraudeur
