I am interested in starting to collect geocoins. Where, besides trading at GC events, can I go to purchase coins? Can I go directly to state GC org sites and purchase a coin? Thanks, Wild-weaver

Hello. I'm not new to geocaching, been doing it since July 2003. I am a lurker, but have posted a few times when I needed advice and had questions. I haven't had any hostile remarks from any posts, everyone has been very helpful. Which I feel most geocachers are....we are such a rare enigma and friendly too! I just recently went to my first geocaching event, the Chicago GC Picnic. I had such a blast and am looking forward to doing more GC events. This past year I have been more involved in caching, actually I have acknowledged my addiction to geocaching. I am a lurker though, but enjoy reading posts on the forums. I enjoy Groundspeak, but prefer my local forum, GEONIL. (I know more of the cachers) Well there you go, my 2 cents and my 'official' introduction to the forum. Thanks, Wild-weaver

Hello. I have been caching for the past 2 years and I want a sig item. I was recently at a geocaching event and say some coins. Some metal printed others wooden and yet others out of clay. Here is my question: How can I make my own geocoin to leave as a sig item? (either from clay, or a wooden nickel, etc.) Thanks, Wild-weaver

I am looking to upgrade to a Premium member on GC.com and want to know what is the best PDA (Palm) to buy to use pocket queries on. Bob and Kath- I live in St. Charles and hid a cache today out in Elburn FP. I checked the Kane County FP website and found no listings about geocaching in the Rules and regulations section.
