[garmin nuvi trouble]

We use a Nuvi 255w & you can touch the top of the screen to get distance to GZ. Its the only thing we use, works great paperless.

THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU for the tutorial on paperless caching!!!!!!!!!!!!! I struggled and finally got everything to download to my Nuvi 255W. Your tutorial was awesome, it must've taken a long time.This was something that was really bugging me-that is -paperless caching. I didn't want to have to buy more equipment, since I already have a Garmin etrex cx. I still have to test it in the field but I'm pretty confident at this point.

[etrex venture cx in Europe need new map?]

I have etrex venture cx and am going to try GC in Paris and some surrounding areas. (Pretty new at this game but enjoying-getting addicted actually.) Anyway, the unit has a SDm slot, I have ordered Garmin City Navigator Europe NT - Benelux/France (comes with SD and SDm cards). Did I need this or would the base map in the etrex been OK? Can always send back unopened. Thanks.
