Thanks, I've had a look at the link. When I save my cache description, there is no image showing, just the URL which I've copied from my saved image in Geocaching.com. I think I'm missing something very basic somewhere?

Going mad here; I can get a background image OK but cannot get a nice big photo to start off the description. When I past in the URL in the little box that opens when you upload image in Long Description it just stays as HTML...ie no photo. Any help much appreciated; here in the alps the photos are pretty important!

I emailed RAM in the UK as to what to buy and they recommended the RAM_HOL_GA48 holder together with the RAP-274-1 Eze mount. I ordered these at 14.30 yesterday and they arrived at 13.00 today and we live in a rural part of France; I call that pretty good. All assembled and on the bike ready for action; seems to be ideal. Thanks Have read lots of bad comments re the garmin as it doesn't seem to be designed for the etrex20 and requires filing bits off. As for the Ram cradle holder, I can't see how you mount it to a mountain bike's handlebars; the cradle needs an additional mount but I can't find it! Slowfox

Really struggling with GSAK; can run the macro FindStatGen to generate my stats but when I copy them into my profile on geocaching.com I don't get the maps and graphs. Any help much appreciated.

I'm a cacher based in France who wants to get a Sat Nav system that will work in France, Spain & Italy. I don't want to use it for caching but would like to be able to download (or manually enter co-ordinates) waypoints such as the parking for a cache or series of caches. If anyone has a suitable suggestion I'd be very grateful...budget up to £150....done loads of research already but am very undecided....just need a nudge in the right direction! Thanks

Thanks 4 all the advice but what I think I'm going to do is put out a 2 stage cache, the 1st being a trad cache containing the sudoko grids which will lead to a bonus cache thus reducing the number of cachers using t'internet to solve the sudoko.

Could't agree more! Have just returned home to France having left 3 Geocoins & 3 Travelbugs in caches on the Costa Brava in Spain. All 6 appear to have been stolen.......why? What is the point? Does it make the thieves happy? I feel really saddened that there are people out there who deliberately steal such things. Ian
