  1. Yes, I had wondered about font size, but could not find changing that within the AL app. I have since changed it at the phone level: Settings > Display > Font size and style > Font size. My previous screenshot was based on a font size at the 4th tick mark (out of a maximum of 8), and it truncated at the last line, missing "... ceremonies." Below are the results from the various settings on my phone: Font size: 1st tick mark (smallest) ... can see all text ... no truncation Font size: 2nd tick mark ... no truncation Font size: 3rd tick mark ... no truncation Font size: 4th tick mark ... truncated last line ..."ceremonies." Font size: 5th tick mark ... truncated ... "held similar ceremonies." Font size: 6th tick mark ... truncated ... "in Whanganui held similar ceremonies." Font size: 7th tick mark ... truncated ... "the East Town Railway Workshop in Whanganui held similar ceremonies." Font size: 8th tick mark ... truncated ... "at the East Town Railway Workshop in Whanganui held similar ceremonies." So the obvious workaround is to reduce the font size in order to avoid the truncations ... in my case, down to the 3rd tick mark. However, this remains a bug as the box "Get closer to the location to unlock and answer the challenge question. [Answer]" could be made smaller. In any case, that box should not obstruct the full scrolling of the underlying text, regardless of the font size that the user has set on the phone. Afterall, we should not discriminate against players who do require bigger font sizes in order to read comfortably.
  2. The final paragraph in the full text is "In the years following the unveiling of the flagstaff, Petone workshop staff lowered the flag whenever they learned that one of their workmates had died. Their colleagues at the East Town Railway Workshop in Whanganui held similar ceremonies." Max and 99 can see all the text. Viervoeter truncates at "... Whanganui held" and misses out on last line "... similar ceremonies." Mine (attached below) truncates at "... Whanganui held similar" and misses out on last line "... ceremonies." So it would depend on how the last line might get to the "unscrollable" zone. That might also depend on the App version and/or phone hardware. Mine is Android App version 1.3.16; build: 2511 | Samsung S8 (SM-950F) | Android version 9
  3. Try https://adventurelab.page.link/HXMm. The introduction page is ok ... but try the location page, e.g. 2.5 ANZAC Flagstaff.
  4. You can certainly scroll down, but the scrolling would stop short in that the last few text lines at the bottom would still be covered by the "footer" button.
  5. Here is another odd one that shows 0-30 min.: Discover Historic Petone: Part 2 ... https://adventurelab.page.link/HXMm We created this recently, and when initially listed, it showed 0-30 min. Now it has 1 completed, and it still shows 0-30 min. We tried to find out how long it took to be completed by the first participant, but the Statistics page in labs.geocaching.com/builder/adventures/statistics shows the date, but not the time ... (all showed "11/21/2021 UTC"). So can't compute the time from this . Is this another bug on the Statistics page? Incidentally, the actual time to complete all locations will be understated, since we are not sure if the algorithms do in fact log the actual "start" time, or not? We suspect the calculation may just be calculating the difference in time between the completion of the first and last locations, so missing the time between the actual start and the completion of the first location. Nor is it useful to log the first time the "Start" button was pressed, since in many situations, people might simply press the "Start" button at home and well before they "started" to look for the first location. All in all though, this is a useful enhancement to give an indication of what the median time it takes for previous players has been. While it is simpler to show the actual median time, we are in two minds as to whether to show in time buckets or not. The use of time buckets reinforces the intent for this to be of "indicative" nature only, rather than being too precise about the actual time. If that is the case, then even broader buckets might suffice: <= 30 mins, 31-60 mins, 61-120 mins, > 120 mins.
  6. There used to be a button "Add to List" on the Search Results page for adding selected geocaches to your own list. But this button has disappeared recently. Have tried with multiple browsers: Firefox, Edge, Safari, Chrome (all latest versions) under Windows 10.

    403.6 error

Thanks, JakeDanaiandConner. There is some hope that this may indeed work again for Opera Mini. However, still waiting ... As for UC Browser, the version used on our Nokia N97 is V8.9.0.277 S60V5 pf50 (it's the latest version for the phone). There is no settings>network>proxy option. Tried to play around with Settings > Preferences > Network > Website Preferences. Was on "Default" before. Tried "Desktop". But still doesn't work. Can't find any other place to set or remove any proxy in this version of UC Browser. As we said, UC Browser worked well for us until two days ago. Then all of a sudden yesterday, it could only get the "403.6 - Forbidden" message when clicking to a cache page.

    403.6 error

We had a similar problem with Opera Mini since last month. After reading an earlier post, we installed UC Browser. This worked well ... until yesterday. But today, even UC Browser got this 403.6 error. Help.
  10. I can't find the "project a waypoint" function in this top-of-line model. Can others confirm this, or have I missed something?
