  1. To be fair, Google Street view can be fairly out of date sometimes. It took them two years before my house finally showed up.
  2. It works, thanks. Of course! Glad I could help.
  3. I am part of a caching team - Team Paradux - and we go out together all the time and sign logs as "Paradux". Makes it easier to sign (hard enough to sign when I'm juggling the cache and the log and my pen), and takes less room on the log. Granted, I would never claim a find when I was not physically there. Where's the fun in that?
  4. I suppose I am guilty of this. There was a geocoin event nearby, and I missed the meet and greet by a couple of days but went and did the challenge to earn my geocoin. I logged the event as attended, thinking it was a valid log since I participated in the challenge, but subsequently had my log deleted (two months later, with no explanation from the CO - I can only assume the reason).
  5. How about "experienced" cachers who hold onto your trackable for MONTHS, posting nothing, no stories, no photos, and completely ignore the clearly stated mission? "Oh, I'm racking up miles, even though the trackable owner has absolutely no desire to rack up miles." "I'll just take trackable out of the area where it was requested to travel, and just pretend that I'm taking it to numerous other caches." "I'll take this trackable and hold onto it for MONTHS and no one else can see it or get a chance to move it on as requested by the owner." Yeah, thanks, dude. B. +1 I just had to contact a cacher today who has held on to my geocoin for two months and has not posted anything about it - heck, they have not even contacted me back despite numerous attempts to reach out to them. 'Twas my first geocoin too
  6. I am fairly new to Geocaching. Been doing it for two and a half months and just recently hit my 200th find. Would it be appropriate to host a meet and greet event in my area to meet fellow cachers and get tips for improving my caching experience?
