  1. If it's a cache I really liked or I'm feeling generous, I will leave an engraved LEGO brick: Engraving cost ran $1 each
  2. Cycle, Sounds like a winner to me! Count me in for Posey, Vanderburgh, Warrick or Gibson which ever need covered. God bless & see ya on the trail, Hoosier Guy This is a great idea! I would love to take Warrick County if Hoosier Guy is willing to let me have it. - RedjackRyan
  3. A simple plug-in of the coordinates into the Geocaching search reveals it to be near the ET Highway Rest Area, and most likely the big ET Highway Sign: http://coord.info/GC2CTAV
  4. I can't comment on Travel Bugs repelling zombies, but can vouch for the effectiveness of the Mega Generic XXL Geocoin being an excellent weapon to use against them!
  5. From the main website menu - Play -> Find Trackables, which takes you to this page: http://www.geocaching.com/track/ Put the code you wrote down at "Enter Tracking Code of the Item" If correct, it should pull up the trackable's page. Click on "Add Log Entry" and then under type of log - "Dicovered it" I hope this helps!
  6. Went back to look at the TB's page... "as they always do"... A recent TB I found is still in circulation after 8 years: http://coord.info/TBG0RZ It has been marked missing at least once, but as you can see it's still moving about.
  7. But how long should a trackable be missing before doing that? Some have resurfaced after years of being gone. Somewhat recently I picked up a TB that had been marked missing after a few months and a proxy was released. I ended up finding the original TB while the proxy was marked in at an event. I'm sure there was some confusion, and after the person who got the proxy grabbed it and I grabbed it back, I initiated communication with them and the owner, and the owner had them send the proxy back. If you're wanting to get more trackables in the game, get more new TB's or coins and release them. Resurrecting supposedly missing TB's only serves in causing confusion if the original returns.
  8. Difficulty 5 - Located in active crime scene. Special equipment/tools required: Police uniform, badge, squad car.
  9. Thanks for posting the conversion page, didn't know the site had one. Alternately, one can just divide the seconds by 60 to get the decimel minutes
  10. It's better to archive them and take them with you, than leave them active yet abandoned as it seems to happen quite frequently around here.
  11. It's perfectly acceptable to revisit a cache you've already found to pick up TB's. You can post a "note" log instead of a found it and mention you picked up the TBs.
  12. On a cache that had been archived for 5 months: I cleaned up the geo-trash today... There has not been a new listing created for it as log intentions seems to indicate but there was another log on the sheet for February of this month, but not online.
  13. Here is what my reviewer sent to me on one of my caches that was within 150' of railroad tracks:
  14. Sounds neat, how many grab bags can fit in the same size flat-rate box?
  15. The coin bag arrived today! Some nice ones in there, I will post photos soon
  16. Wow, really neat coin concept! Are there any plans for an Indiana coal coin? (I work at an Indiana coal mine) How much coal does it take to make a run of these coins? I may be able to get some coal from my family's mine in New Mexico for a New Mexico version. Yes, I would love some specifications on the amount/quality of coal required in order to make a coin run
  17. Wow, really neat coin concept! Are there any plans for an Indiana coal coin? (I work at an Indiana coal mine)
  18. Here's a proxy I released for a Flying Spaghetti Monster geocoin. The keychain actually cost as much as the coin itself.
  19. Fill out the calendar for all 366 days of finds, and also hit a 366 consecutive days of finds streak. Oct 4!
  20. Very nice design! I love the claw-marks on the coin's rim! Would love one of these!
  21. Nice signature item! I drop the same kind myself, but blank and mostly in Indiana
