  1. Thanks everyone. I'll check it out after work.
  2. Looking to get a topo map loaded in my Oregon 600. Where should I look?
  3. It covers the entire state. Wow. That's a lot of caches. These should keep me busy a while. Thanks!
  4. Thanks. I checked it and it was the full 1000 limit. I wonder how many I missed.
  5. I created a PQ with only large and small traditional caches for my entire state. How can I tell how many caches were in it?
  6. I have icaching for Mac. It is supposed to be similar to GSAK. I've never heard of. Project gc
  7. Great. Thanks. I just got it and I am having to learn to use it. I used an old yellow etrex when I started. This is a big upgrade for me.
  8. Got it thanks. I didn't want to be a cheater.
  9. I logged the wrong thing and I want to correct it. Is there a way to do this?
  10. I know that PQs are limited to 1000 caches. I also know that I can make 10 PQs per day. What if the state has more than 1000? If I wanted to add an entire state how would I go about doing that?
  11. You logged a field note into your Oregon. Now you need to upload that field note to geocaching.com: http://www.geocaching.com/my/fieldnotes.aspx Use the link supplied, or find it on your (private) Profile Page, right side towards the bottom of the page. Thank you sooo much! It worked!
  12. We found our first cache with our new Oregon 600. I logged the cache via the Oregon 600 while we were there. How do I get that log to show up on Geocaching.com? Also, after I load a PQ do I need to switch from one to the other or do all of the caches show up when I arrive at that particular area? I don't see anything in the menu of the 600 that shows PQs.
  13. I just found this very informative video showing how to create pq's. I just learned a lot! Thanks.
  14. Thanks for the replies. I don't need the whole state, I just don't know what I'm doing with paperless yet. LOL If I could just add say, a 5-10 square mile area of caches that would be awesome. I'm going to sign up for the premium membership this weekend. This sounds like it will be a lot easier than manually entering each cache into my old yellow etrex.
  15. How do I send all the geocaches from a certain state or area to my Oregon 600? I have never done paperless caching. I just got the Oregon 600 today.
  16. I pulled the trigger on an Oregon 600. I got it for $312 total. Do I need a premium membership here to go paperless? Also, the 600 says that it will hold 4 million caches. Will it hold every gpx file on geocaching.com? Or is there a way to just add every gpx file from my state and then add other states as we travel? Thanks in advance.
  17. Our family has been geocaching for a few years with an old black and white basic Garmin. I want to finally upgrade to something nicer. I am looking for a Garmin unit that will allow me to plug it into my iMac and download all geocaches for a certain area. For example, when we spend the day at our local state park I would like the ability to download all of the caches in the state park. I would like to have a touchscreen and a color display. I don't really need a waterproof unit but I don't care if it is. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
