  1. National Parks are off limits per the NPS and I believe State Parks vary from State to State.
  2. Try UBB Codes. The site I linked is one of many so you can Google for others. At least I seem to recall that is what is used.
  3. After you log your find or write a note a link should appear to add the images. But first you must complete the log or note.
  4. I never gave the sig lines much attention until I read a thread about placing your location in it. since that time I have modified it a couple times.
  5. if that is the TB number you just posted you should delete it so that others can't grab it and make the TB owner have a real bad day.
  6. I myself do not see it as a problem. Cache Viking TB lost his original metal tag and now is traveling with a homemade replacement.
  7. GPX Sonar runs on Windows CE? And are you saying I don't need anything else then GSAK and GPX Sonar? Will I have access to the same logs and decypted hints? Will I be able to include Pictures form the caches' galleries? Thank you very much! GPX Sonar can take your Pocket Query .gpx file directly and the hints are there already translated. To see them you just block highlight the white text on white background to read. GSAK is a great tool to manipulate the gpx files if you want but it is not necessary. I find GSAK great for getting caches along a route. EDIT as for pictures I my self have not been able to get them accross into Sonar but that is not to say it can't. Others may be able to clarify.
  8. I use GPX Sonaron my PPC and GSAKon my Computer. No translation needed for PPC. GPX Sonar reads the .gpx file right in and works great.
  9. I have the Duluth vest and love it. Worked well for a recent cache trip around Los Angeles.
  10. ... start worrying when one hits Florida. Especially before HURRICANE season.
  11. Well they are two different things. WGS84 is the map datum that GC uses and WAAS is a method of increasing your units accuracy when on. I have tried WAAS and have found it a toss up as to how much it improves the units accuracy. A search of the forums for WAAS will provide you with much more.
  12. This would be nice. I keep wondering what it would take to download coordinates from my PPC to my GPS.
  13. I use the one in this link with GSAK and Mapsourse and it works well. The part I like is it is easy.
  14. This is what I do and it works great. I even have bookmark coordinates for places such as my parents or other family that we visit frequently. These bookmark points can also be set as center.
  15. Cache Viking TB has done alright with 78 images in his gallery with many associated with his goal.
  16. Sorry to hear about your bug. I had one go missing for Near Six Months. Sometimes you just have to wait. You might contact the cache owner of the last cache it was in to see if they could find anything in the log book.
  17. Mapsource with PQs and GSAK works great and simple ... I like the simple part.
  18. There is also a Glacier Lodge here in CA. All that is needed now is to know which one the OP wants.
  19. It was in the SF Bay area in August 04, then it went to Ottawa , Canada and I lost track of it. I was watching it head south in CA and was hoping to get it if it went far enough south of San Francisco but it took a big hop in an entire new direction.
  20. I never used it as an avatar. I posted it in a thread and then it turned up in avatars....... Confused me to near death at first and then was an amusing day. that still is one of the best spontaneous avatar days there ever was.
  21. Yup. What Miragee said. I use Pocket Queries and GSAK with Garmin Mapsource. I am able to create a route in Mapsource and save it in their old MPS file format which imports directly into GSAK telling it how far from the route. Works great.
  22. I bought two sets of these Midlands that my kids and their friends take everywhere. Had them almost a year now and they are still working great.
  23. There are many that do the Event Cache Circuit like this Bread Machine or this Bowling Ball
