  1. Well, I found "Souvenir Penny Cache" and "Kateys Cute Cache." Those were both relatively easy (though it does bother me that the latter one has horrible grammar :o) The other two I've attempted I couldn't even get close to, so I'm not going to worry about them until the white stuff thaws

  2. Man, I really miss the NGA forums right now. I also miss my computer....I'm still at my sister's house....dang dial-up.

You know, it makes me feel pretty danged good that rusty and everybody else is concerned about my well-being. The community created through geocaching really is a great thing.

On a separate note: Snow-caching is HARD! Holy crap....but yeah, I'll get better, eventually

  3. Well, I've finally reached 50, on "Pueblo Micro #2" 12/30/04

    YAY!

And I'm going to set a goal: reach 100 before the end of the spring semester (meh, around early May.) Shouldn't be to hard, even with my studies getting in the way

  4. Wow, those are mighty large numbers. I feel kind of inadequite. It sounds like a lot of them are in California, mostly Bay Area. And I have cacheed near there, in Roseville, and the caches are very dense in location. I think if I spent a solid whole day caching there I could find quite a bit

  5. Holy crap, people. I've been stuck on these few puzzles for at least a week, and it's killing me that I can't figure them out. If you have, or can decrypt stuff easily, please help. They are in Las Vegas. They are:

Alien Artifact (by VegasCacheHounds) Difficulty: 4.5

Decrypt (by Boris and Natasha) Difficulty: 1

**with this one, it's not a matter of difficulty, it's a matter of not being able to

find any of the dates needed to solve the puzzle

    Up-n-at'em Pardner, C'mon! (by FlyinV) Difficulty: 3

So, if anybody out there can offer some advice, please help

  6. I want to hear what has happened to fellow cachers on their travels.

A little pet peeve of mine is that, living in the desert, there are a lot of jack rabbits, and for some reason these buggers like to run out into the street JUST as you're driving by. After a very unsuccessful day of caching (1/4 found) I was rather tired, and on the way home, a HUGE jack rabbit tears across the road, and I slam on my breaks. Normally, if I wasn't so tired, I'd have just kept going, but it just startled me, forcing me to break. And my friend next to me just so happened to have a slurpee , which he was holding between his legs. Needless to say, that slurpee went everywhere in my car, and the floor of the passenger is still stick and smells of Hawaiian Punch.

  7. FEH, I'm a sand rat (Vegas) and I can't even count how many times I've fallen/stepped/etc on cacti. Depending on your body type, it should clear up in any time between a couple days to around two weeks. Good luck though, eh!

  8. Hey people, Las Vegas native matbluvenger (check me out at the main site. AND GO TO MY NEW CACHE, "Can you lend some spare change?"!!)

I do have a question, though. If anybody knows where it is, could I have a hint on "Turning Over a New Leaf." I tried for at least 30 minutes (maybe more) and I just could not find it. Any suggestions?
