    Visiting Cincy

There are several caches within walking distance of downtown Cincy. Do a search on Zipcode 45201 for a listing. Some are just over the "Purple People Bridge" in Newport, KY. As a matter of fact - there is one ON the "Purple People Bridge" and one of regoarrarr's famous Garagiola caches in downtown Cincy!
  2. For Ohio, check out our OKIC website for the ODNR (Ohio Department of Natural Resources) policy. It covers our State Parks, Wildlife areas, etc. Also covered are Kentucky's policies. Cheers ... OKIC

It's tough to get a virtual approved unless it's in a park that does not allow physical caches, such as National Parks. Just to make sure you know - I was just commenting on the GC policy towards virtual cache approvals, not that your idea was "lame".

  7. Bjorn74, I was the one who posted the Event Cache for the Greene Co. event this Saturday. Greene County Parks came up with the idea as part of their normal event schedule. In-other-words, I'm not in charge of it. As far as what kind of caches there will be, I really don't know - the Parks folks are in charge of that and requested that if any experienced cachers want to help the newbies, then we could. They are being "tight-lipped" They did tell me that they will be placing caches that are a challenge for the experienced folks and some that are easy. By-the-way, this event is not a Geocaching picnic event, but a great way to meet other cachers in the area and to find a few caches. Looking forward to seeing you and any other Columbus cachers this Saturday. If you have any more questions, post them here. Cheers ...
