I tried the recommendation above, switched the phone off, removed the battery and have now managed to login successfully.

I've just installed the Geocaching software on my WP7 and I get the error trying to login to my account. Help

Done that, still no difference. Tried all the options and there is definitely a bug.

I too am having the same problem. I've just received an email saying my new TB has been logged, first drop since I set it free, showing where it is, showing in the cache it's been dropped in, but no mileage travelled or map displayed. Definitely a system issue, I'm using Firefox v 3.0.2

Thanks for all your positive feedback, realised from the feedback from Isonzo that I hadn't set my location so have now done that. Definitely going to get our first cache out asap.

I've heard that there is an "unwritten" etiquette about placing your own cache. Eg you shouldn't place your own cache until you've reached a certain number of finds, and similarly, for every x number of finds you should place a cache. I have tried searching the GC site and also the forum but can't find anything about etiquette of placing. We have a couple of boxes that we are preparing and thinking about suitable locations, I think this is half of the fun. Any tips gratefully received.
