Geocacaching is different things to different people. That is why it is so popular. I use PNGs when I need to Get off the highway for a moment and do not have time for an adventure. Get a grip and only do caches that interest you and I will only do the ones that interest me. This is not an elitist sport.

Geocaching does not need to be a competitive sport. One of the pleasures of caching is that you can do iy your own way. caching is about having fun. If someone's frustration level gets so high they are not having fun anymore,why not tell them what they want to know. Do not impose your values on their fun.

I usually log dnfs. I used to assume that most people do too, but the other day someone all but reprimanded those of us who had dnfed a particular cache. After thinking about it more, either I am a terrible cacher (possibly the case) or others are not logging dnfs. I'd sure like to hear from others about this.
