My main question, once again: Is this the only post or thread in the forums for geocaching aviators? We two new pilots would like to chat with other flying geocachers out there.

My husband and I just got our Sport Pilot licenses! So now we can talk about going out for the "hundred-dollar cache"! As for geocaches near airports, the only one I've seen so far was on an abandoned airfield. However, I am thinking of asking permission to put one on the other side of the street from our local airport, perhaps with the stipulation that it be visited during daylight hours only. We'll see what happens! Jodie P.S. Is this the only post relating to geocaching aviators? Are there really that few of us?

I'm not paranoid enough to say our local caches are being targeted by vandals, but the coordinate card for one of my caches has disappeared twice, and one of my other multi-caches has been messed with several times. Looks like we all will have to be more vigilant and monitor our caches more often!
