  4. OK It would seem that no one out there remembers the (probably) first BBC sci-fi adventure . Originally on Radio and then on TV in the '50s. Angus McVivar's "Voyage to the lost planet" and "Return to the lost planet". The planet was.....Hesikos. Let's try again...........What, precisely, is a "Yarborough"?
  5. OK...... a little bit of a hint and if no takers I'll change the question. Hesikos is a name from my distant past. BBC 1950's.............
  6. Heh Heh, Got to be .........Horace Bachelor and his infra draw pools (?) method ....and that dates both of us Alex
  7. "Yes, this listing is active (For new listings, if you want to work on this listing before it is reviewed, uncheck this box. Reviewers will only see the listing in the queue when it is checked.)" We do not see the cache page for review until the box marked as above is ticked. If the box is ticked we see the cache page and assume that the infomation is corect......................

  11. I seem to remember, several posts, and hours, ago, the other short fat guy with beard and specs getting the number of vertebrae in a giraffes neck correct. He asks me to set this little puzzle .......O-ER-T-O- is what?
  12. About a year or so ago I was caching on Hayling Island, The Kench was the cache:
  13. Yup, the very minimum a cache must have, if it is to stand as a final or a trad, is a container and a log book. If the cache is a waypoint in a multi or offset then a log is not a requirement. If the cache is one of a series, with each cache pointing to the next, if they are listed as separate stand alones, they require log books. I am afraid there have been a few, very rare, times when information has been misleading, more common (but still very rare) is when a cache has been muggled and the owner changes the cache page to require an answer rather than a signature but does no change the cache type, or let us know about the change. For the record I would repeat that instances such as this are rare, and when they are communicated to us and we speak to the owner they are, almost without exception, corrected rapidly. ....I see t'other fat bloke with beard and specs is getting above himself again
