  1. It is interesting what comments they let on there site and the ones they don't. I was very nice in all my posts and none of them where let on there site.
  2. I know of the park you speak of and think it is a very nice one. I guess it's truly up to you what you want to do. I know that there is no connection between the two.
  3. All the computers that I work with are now fixed. It wasn't a hard fix, but I hate to think how long it would have taken me to figure out what was causing it. Thanks for the heads up. Sorry I didn't believe you at first. I was working on a vista machine and didn't even think to check one of the other machine before posting a reply. I'm happy to see that vista, for the first time, isn't the one making thing go bad.
  4. I just fixed one of my "broken" computers by uninstalling zone alarm, doing windows updates, and then reinstalling zone alarm. This method didn't work on the next computer however. If you have the time to try it doesn't hurt. I personally believe with a good firewall and some common sense you don't need an anti virus. I use a free anti virus because I don't alway use my common sense.
  5. I may have spoken too soon. None of the Vistamachines are affected. BUT, some of the xp machines were. I can't figure out why some were and some weren't.
  6. I use zonealarm on a dozen computers with the latest windows updates. Some use xp others use vista. None of them have any problems with internet access, wireless or lan. Some use the free zonealarm and others use the pro. When did you have the problem? Could it have been user error?
  7. Creating a "Power Trail" has never been permitted. Many people have tried and many people have been denied. Search the forum for power trails and see what others have to say.
  8. I'm following this thread very closely. I just posted this cache yesterday. Guler Ice Caves
  9. Please pardon me for not posting a relpy , I didn't want to bother. HEHE
  10. Very cool. Now it's going to kill me to wait...
  11. I have a lot of family that lives in Alaska. It would make their day if they had trail maps. They might even have a few of their own to put in. More trails the better. As long as it doesn't overload you. It also give me one more reason to go up and visit.
  12. Bummer about the color trails. I might have to buy a new GPSr. The only thing is that I use the Palm side of the GPSr more than the GPSr. I'd hate to have to carry two units, but the IQue isn't the best for long trails anyways. Colorado maybe?

  14. Zoom in on the white box and you will see the trails. I think you need to be zoomed in 2 mile and under to see them.
  15. Almost forgot I use CN 2008 and Topo maps on my GPSr
  16. The trails are exactly the same as unpaved roads on the Garmin IQue 3600 Both are green dashes. Trails are red on map source but when transfered to the IQue they turn green. Also a RSS feed on your site when there is a new update would be GREAT! BTW I am so exited about this. I have so many places I want to go now. Thanks again for all the great work!!
  17. Thank you, I upgrade to the newest version without any problems. Is there any way to overlay the trails in map source itself? I would love to view them on a bigger screen.
  18. How do I tell what version I downloaded? I think I have the newest version but can't seem to find a version number anywhere. If this is going to be updated a lot it would be nice to see what version you download last. OH BTW this is great been wanting something like this forever!!! Is there any way to have the trails a different color than the small roads? THANKS
  19. Does anyone know what the roads are like going through Darington? How much snow are they going to get tonight? Would it be better to take 20 the whole way?
  20. We will be using two cars and need to know were to park the lower car. I haven't been out there is some time and can't remember seeing a parking lot. Is it clearly marked so that we can find it easily?
  21. I have a couple of questions. Since I am bringing my kayaks I need to know if the pull-out spot has parking. I don't know how the transportation is going to be. Should I bring two cars? One on either end of the trip. This is how I usually do it but was curious if there was a way to take only one car? Is there room for two 10 foot kayaks and two people on the way back to the starting point? We will be there either way, just would like to know what to expect. Thanks BBP
  22. He/she might have done the original earth cache in this location. I looked at the site and thought that I had done that one only to realize that I had done the original. I could easily find my picture from the other cache but I couldn't answer the question. (Actually I do know the answer) I would take a guess that the picture was taken for the first earth cache and He/she is trying to log the new one too. Only a guess but it make since to me.
  23. Grumblecache IV: Caching Through the Snow A cache by Team Grumblecakes & Frogtrotter Hidden: 12/30/2006 Size: (Regular) Difficulty: Terrain: (1 is easiest, 5 is hardest) GC1036Y I had a great time doing this one!
