Hello, my first post but since I just got a new Triton 500 thought I would share my experience so far. It was a bit difficult to set up, got multiple errors etc, but this seemed to be my fault as I was in a hurry. Once I made sure all of the drivers were current, that I had downloaded the new version of NG Topo!, and turned the computer off (restart did not work) and turned it back on all seems to be working just fine. I followed the instructions off of National Geographics web site. I used a 512mb card from an old digital camera and was able to put a large part of Oregon in it with no problems. As far as the GPS itself, I have found it easy to use and very intuitive. Has strong signal strength in our home and seems to be working as advertised. I bought it at REI with the expectation that I may have to return it and they have a great return policy. So far though I like it and think it will be nice to have the NG maps built in.
