  1. I would like the ability to have "Collection" show up in your inventory when logging caches. That way I can keep the coins in a collection and be able to log all of my held coins to add miles to the caches I visit and then be able to grab them all back instead of logging them all individually. And it would be nice with that feature to only receive one email saying your collection has been logged in or out of a cache instead of millions of them.
  2. I used mapsource to upload it. I want to make sure i have this straight. I should treat the Oregon as an external hard drive and drag and drop the file into it?
  3. I just got an Oregon 400t and uploaded a pocket query to it. The query uploaded as waypoints and not into the geocaches section. What am I doing wrong? I didn't have all of the cache info and it makes it harder to log and retrieve the caches. When I downloaded them directly from the cache page (ie. one at a time) I was able to get all of that info. I can't believe that this is the only, and fastest way, to download caches. Thanks!
  4. I am a fan! My best first dates have been caching!
  5. I would like to be able to download the details for my coins and bugs into a gpx file so I can run statistics for it. All of the information is there, a TB or coin is almost like a member. It would be nice to run it like the pocket query for my own statistics.
  6. Just took inventory of my TB's and Coins and I have min five missing and presumed dead and could be upwards of 7! I feel for everyone here!
  7. These are special coins, check out the Garmin blogs,Garmin Blogs to introduce the Garmin Colorado and the Wherigo features. some folks from Garmin spent 22 days in 24 states placing these coins. When you find one you write a blog about the coin, where and when you found it... It is not apparent if I am to activate it or not.
  8. Who else has picked one of these up? I am curious if I am supposed to activate it when I pick it up or if it is to remain unactivated? I feel like I am supposed to but it is a little strange activating something that does not necessarily belong to me. What do you think?

  10. I would like to see a "Map It" button on my bookmark list. If I am planning a trip to an area that I am not so familiar with I would like to be able to create a bookmark list and then put it all onto one map so I don't have to rely on my tiny screen for the whole area.
  11. I would like to see a feature where I can search based on my interest...boating, hiking, mountaineering, etc. It makes sense to me that it could be an attribute added to the the description of the cache and would then be searchable.
  12. Start paying attention to who is leaving what. You will start to recognize the really creative cachers. I personally don't care what I get but I like to leave really cool things. Go to http://www.mcphee.com/index.html and get one of their $35 mystery bags and have fun leaving surprises for people.
  13. I saw one where they hollowed out a pine cone and placed a film canister in the middle. Talk about really difficult to see! But great idea!
