As I am in Australia the time and date stamps on the logs are all incorrect - why doesn't the app pull the timezone from my membership profile if not the iPhone itself?

I am not Canadian (Australian) but I will be living here in Vancouver for the next year or two. Hope to meet some of you out and about Any regular Vancouver meets?

I have been in "the middle of nowhere" and had the GPS mapping my route without mobile 2G or 3G coverage (well, if that is what I am supposed to assume from the "No Service" reception status). Although I haven't tried it I'm *fairly* sure you can save the geocache (in the Geocaching app) and navigate to it without phone reception. Please feel free to correct me if this isn't the case...
