Hi there-- Is anyone else finding the geocaching.com site to be incredibly slow lately? I even have roadrunner, and when I hit the "see all logs" or "decrypt" buttons, I have to walk away and do some chores, and maybe by the time I come back, the page has loaded... What is the easiest/best way to find out about new caches in our area? I usually just search by zip code and look for the "new" icon, but is there a better way? Thanks, Lisa from Team SunSpot

Eeeeek! Not to mention, it appears that geocacher "yaya" came down from Idaho on Sunday JUST to place a TB in the cache, and that TB is now probably impounded in the police station. Does anyone think that security concerns will shut down the hobby of geocaching all together? Or that we probably just need to avoid airport areas? Lisa (team SunSpot)

Hi everybody-- We are brand new to this geocaching stuff...our GPS came in the mail yesterday and we went just up the road to Battle Mtn and found our fist cache! It's me, my husband, and our little girl. We're fairly new to San Diego, and what a great way to see the area! We're game for a picnic--would be nice to meet all of you! Lisa (SunSpot)
