I was waiting for this response. Re-read the post. I didn't complain about making design changes nor the compliancy to XML. I complained about the lack of communication of these changes to their partners. Delivery of the PQs without the use of email is a new feature provided by GS. Without knowing how the programming is done, small tweaks now affect the usage of the product that was designed to take advantage of it. Future revenue streaming from other companies that may want to jump in and do the same thing can be affected. Again, it was about simple lines of communication. I agree, it would have been nice to know that "Unknown" is changed to "Mystery/puzzle". This has nothing to do with XML parsing, it is about how cache types are coded.

This might be related to the issue I brought up No TBs listed.... I haven't tried Chrome, but Firefox and IE8 behave the same, no TBs listed on the print page. I'm running XP.

Just tried out the hint in another thread to see what you get with the printed listing. (I know, not as good as the .pdf ) The print out does not show the travelbugs or geocoins at all. When I checked the html source I (actually Firefox) noticed an error: img src="http://www.geocaching.com/images/wpttypes/sm/21.gif" alt=" /> The alt=string is corrupt, the closing quote (") is missing! This seems to be systematic with several caches that I tried.

GC1WECA seems to be availble (at July 4th 21:45 GMT) You can test it by trying to access the cache (http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=GC1WECA) If the response is "Cache is Unpublished" then the code is free, in case of "An Error Has Occurred. Sorry, you cannot view this cache listing until it has been published." the code is taken, but has not been published by a reviewer. This is just my interpretation of things. Anyhow, it'll be hard to reserve a listing code at the right moment. Be prepared to reserve a lot of them! Here might be an idea for GS to provide ($ell) special cache codes for a modest price.

The "zoom to adress" function hasn't worked for a long time (months) for me with WinXP and Firefox. If I open the map via a link on a cache listing and NEVER touch the "zoom to adress" box, then the Googlemap works, caches are updated, the map can be zoomed and moved.

A bit off-topic (and might be a known problem). Anyhow, I'm not able to enter more than 6 characters in the input box "Visit another travel bug:" on the url: http://www.geocaching.com/track/log.aspx?LUID=xxx.... And there are bugs with id like TB12345.

All problems (/My/ not working, Seek nearest, no entries in recent logs, etc) seem to relate to the following error: View a Cache Log System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at Geocaching.UI.LogBookPanel.ShowCountryState(Int64 StateID, Int64 CountryID) at Geocaching.UI.LogBookPanel.ShowViewLogInfo() at Geocaching.UI.LogBookPanel.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) This error is probably caused by the removal of provinces in Finland last nite. The "bad" cache listings contain "In none, Finland" Will this be fixed or do we have to start removing the erroneous provinces from the listings manually?

Today I was contacted by a fellow cacher who asked me to help with his cache description. He couldn't get the background picture displayed. When I went to see how I had managed to do that, I noticed that on all my caches the background picture had vanished! Should I change something in the description or is this just a temporary hickup?
