  1. Not sure if this has been brought up before or not but now when I view the travel history on travelbugs it doesn't show the mileage from cache to cache. I really enjoyed this old feature...... are they planning on bringing back the old style or what is the latest on this? Thanks.
  2. Wow.... you guys are amazing true to the heart geocachers.... I feel like such an amature now
  3. Here in central connecticut we just got about 10 to 12 inches of snow dumped on us.... on top of the 6 or so inches that was already on the ground. It took me almost an hour to shovel out my car and driveway this morning and then 40 minutes to drive to work... normally it takes about 7 minutes. I get home and check my emails and see that I have over 50 emails from the past two days containing notifications from my watchlist. What the heck?? No wonder I can never keep up in the "finds"! I already put my GPS unit away until the spring thaw! Crazy people out there....
  4. I'm building my next cache to hide and included in the first load of goodies is a swiss army knife. Is there a problem putting this item in there? I've never heard this topic come up before (still relatively new to this sport). Should I nix it?
  5. Found this cache to do along our trip through Mass but the wife wanted nothing to do with it. Have to read the entire description... especially the end http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...9b-ec7c29a60cd1
  6. I find that there are a few local people I'd like to be able to track their geo-caching progress but can't find an easy way of doing it. Is there a way you can add a team name to your "watch list" that sends you an email every time they log a find? If there isn't one already..... would you think this is a good addition to the site or would it be a problem involving privacy? Brian of team BeenThere,DunnThat
  7. Hey everyone, We're still relatively new to the sport (closing in on 30 finds) and have started to look for locations to hide caches. The only problem I have is finding a good place to buy used ammo cans in Connecticut. Anybody out there know of a good (cheap) place? Thanks in advance.
