I too am having the same issue with the screen in my Vista. Mine started after I left it on the dash and it cooked. I am looking forward to a new collor screen.

Is there a rule about religous thymes for a cache? I think that I have looked everywhere and have not seen any commit about this.

I see on the query page there are earthcaches. Does anyone know what they are?

I am now a member and have the ability to get gpx files though the query system. I can be dence from time to time but I cannot discover how to do the same with benchmarks.

My son-in-law told me about this great activity, going out and looking for treasures. I have been hooked ever since. That was in June of 2003 AND CacheClown are in a friendly race as to who has the most loged. I have hooked two sons since. One could not spend the money to get a unit so I gave him mine. Great reason to upgrade. Cache on.

Interesting views. I checked the "rules". They say: Caches on land maintained by the U.S. National Park Service or U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (National Wildlife Refuges) You will be in violation of federal regulation by placing a cache in any area administered by the National Park Service (US). The National Park regulations are intended to protect the fragile environment, and historical and cultural areas found in the parks. In addition, there may be local regulations already in place for certain types of parks in your region (state parks, county preserves, etc.). I think that I would like to be informed that the cache is in an area that costs to park. We should be following the rules, both legal and ethical.

Please help me out I am pulling out my hair and I don't have that much to lose. When I download waypoints they come as .loc files. The new pocket PC programs need .gpx files. I use easygps and can change .loc to .gpx and now can see the file but still can not view it. What am I doing wrong. Can you help me?
