I'm pretty new to Geocaching. I heard about it through a co-worker and I had to try it out. Went around my city with a TomTom my friend had and once we got to the TomTom's final destination, we began to get really confused without farther instructions as to where to you. I need advice on GPS units that I can use not only to locate the cache with the car, but on foot also. I have seen some pictures of GPS systems finding the cache right up to the metre.
I'm ready to purchase my own GPS unit but I don't want to spend TOO much on something really fancy. If someone could list a few units that are reliable, whether it has memory to store caches or not, etc. that would be GREATLY appreciated.
