Wow, check out this pic shown on the GPSPassion forum. Certainly looks like some flavor of Windows running on the thing, based on the error message box. Well, you are correct. The forum says the operating system is windows CE. The fatal exception listed is a simple access violation, and could be anything. Seeing as the unit being talked about was a Alpha or possibly Beta release, errors such as these may be expected. However, if the majority of the code uses xml (which reviewing the error shows that inappropriately closed tags can cause this error) then fixes could be released easily and updates would not be hard to produce. That would be nice (and there would be a possiblility of modifying the xml for the hacker). Then again, I am still hedging my bet, and going to wait until they have been out a month or so before deciding on getting the 400 or a garmin.
