I have one pending approval from the first week in July.

I have encountered the same waymarker in my travels north through California, waymarks with co-ordinates off by miles, co-ordinates correct but the wrong city, etc. Made me go back to re-evaluate a waymark of of his I had previously approved. Obviously I had been in a hurry because it didn't meet the category requirements. Nobody is perfect, but still...

Last email on the 31st, none since.

I may have been asleep and these are old things, but when did the the Read-Only Waymarking Forum Archives go away, and is there a way of finding them? Doing a search for anything Waymarking in the forum search box brings up results for both Waymarking and geocaching. Waymarkark me puzzled.

You're welcome! No, you can do the edit and the resubmission. Just had a Waymark submitted to Ronald McDonald House category I am an officer of that needed a very minor edit to a link. I was confused by what the above means, so approved it, then immediately edited it. If I had cancelled the submission what would have happened to it? Could I then immediately edit it and there would be a "Resubmit Waymark" button where the cancel submission had been? Didn't want to cancel the submission and have it go away as his Lordship would have likely been one very unhappy Waymarker.

Thanks Bruce. In checking one of my groups there was vote that I was able to release, never knew this before. But there is another problem, I now realize I never receive notifications of group votes in any of the groups I am an officer in. This is obviously not good. Anyone know why this might be and how to fix it?

Help me out here. I'm lost as to what "groups tab" is. Is it the "Groups I Manage" under "My Groups" on the Waymarking homepage, or is it something else?

Not sure as to what you mean by more functional as I can't seem to find the info needed for the NRHP category on the official site. But then again, a simple person such as myself needs a simple site. LOL

Anybody else having trouble with the nationalregisterofhistoricplaces.com website? I am getting a login page when I go to it, whether from my bookmark, the NRHP Waymarking page or one of the existing NRHP waymarks. Have tried on different computers and different browsers with same result.

Whenever I have a new Waymark to enter, but can't find anything about it, or sometimes just don't want to take the time to search any info, I just look at the last entry in that category by our top leader in Waymarks, and use it as a template. Seems like most of the time the short description is a rewording of the Waymark title, and there is either nothing in the long description or a simple sentence saying couldn't find any information about said waymark if nothing is to found in Wikipedia. It doesn't get any easier than that.

DougK - Have been there, done that for several thousand Waymarks. Now going the GPS camera route, and looking to really automate the process of transferring coordinates. I am now downloading images into Geosetter and have the coord's shown on each image. Then it is a simple copy and paste to the new waymark. Can do this in Decimal Degrees. For Degrees Minutes it is one operation for the degrees and a second for the minutes. Ianatlarge - Using the other technology of Firefox on a PC, but you've got me thinking. I use the latest bleeding edge, not out for general use version of Firefox, so maybe that is the problem. I hate the thought of using the version the masses use, but I guess I should give it a try. Going to Europe for 3 months soon, and with this new camera I know I'll have hundreds if not thousands of Waymarks to enter, both while over there after I return the US. Just looking to learn the best way to use the data the new camera gives me.

Is there a way to to permanently change the new Waymark default units to Decimal Degrees from the current default which is Degrees and Minutes? It is pain to have to do it every time I enter a new Waymark, and I find that about half the time when I get ready to post the Waymark it didn't accept my Decimal Degrees and I have to enter them again.

I'm with you on this one, especially where the waymark only fits in one category and I have waymarked several in an area only to find out later, much later in some cases, that someone beat me to them. Makes me want to avoid the category in the future. And on another note, congrats on reaching 2000 waymarks.

Dolphin HD is what I am trying to log into. I've just logged in using the default broswer, but for some reason I can't with Dolphin. Guess I'll just have to use the regular browser for WM, which is a bummer as I really like Dolphin HD.

I've tried every way I can to log into Waymarking on my Droid X but it never does. I've logged off and logged back in on both desktops, the laptop and the netbook with no problem. Any ideas on what I might be doing wrong on the smart phone other than being a dumb phone operator? Linkys
