    I received my Unity Geocoins today, absolutely beautiful. The details on the coins are amazing. The dragons appear to be leaping out of the coin. These are a great reflection of the area and especially the dragons in China. I miss the pandas.

    What happens when you can't get the other person to communicate with you? Do you just let it go and allow this person to continue to do the same thing? I agree that the person should attempt to resolve the matter outside of the forums but when that doesn't work I have no problem with the individual bringing their concerns to the forums.

     

    By ignoring the conduct you are only inviting more of it.

    Did you miss this part on the first post from Team JSAM:

     

    "We are currently working on a new geopix geocoin and we are looking for a Halloween related geocaching photos and the photo must have a geocache in the photo. This time we will not be voting but the winner that we choose will get some free coins."

     

    So if they used someone's photo, doesn't that mean they will receive coins?

    Earthcache Geocoin

    There is an EarthCache geocoin in the works at the moment......

     

    If you have not yet done so, go see the EarthCache store (via www.earthcache.org) where you can get some other EC things as well

     

    We have recently approved the final design and hope to have coins available soon.

     

    At this stage there will be one type..sort of equivalent to the white EarthCache Masters pin.

     

    The EarthCache geocoin is on its way! Designs have been finalized and approved. So production is underway. We will announce the release on the EarthCache website.

     

    An update would be nice but given the history of the production I don't expect anything soon. Perhaps three or four more months?

    I think if you read the guidelines you are allowed to open a thread to trade a nontrackable coin but you aren't allowed to sell the geocoin on the forums. I tend to agree with RSG on some issues but this one I see that the original poster was saying that he would sell them for around 15 but he doesn't say whether they are trackable. The moderator was asking to clarify the trackable issue and she/he would re-open. Others have produced their own trackable coin and have not been shut down so that is not the reason.
