Thank you all! I did the update to 3.90 and used it for 4 hours today without a problem. Nice to hear others have also had success.

I have the same problem and from reading some of the replies, I see the battery trick works for them too. If it is a software issue, I will have to spend some time looking into how to update as I am not very techno-savvy. Switching batteries has worked for me for a few minutes, or a few weeks. I bought my unit new in July and have hardly used it. Thought maybe it was defective. I will keep reading here for more info about the technology and hopefully we all can fix this issue. Glad to hear I am not the only one!
