I have been working on this for hrs and still cant get it to work right. Does anyone know anything about a Lowrance Globalmap 100?

Ok I understand the what it is but now why use a micro instid of a reg one? Is it just to make it harder to find and improve your skills of hunting? Rick

Well I see this board is no different than those I have been on for a while. I thought about just skiping this and not post, But what the heck. I might as well jump in and get my feet wet. My question to you is,"Why would you want to do this?" On the other boards we get people who like to mix up "Sex" and present it to people and see what problems it can cause. "It's my right" is the battle call of those groups. What about the rights of others who do not wish to see these items?? Do those rights not count? "It's harmless" or is it now? You place these items in then someone else will try and top it. It grows and grows, getting worse each time, till you have your own little porn cashe. Isnt this great? How about adding child porn in with it? Isnt it their right to shock people? Just some thought... Now lets jut talk about, "Rights." Great things arnt they. Sure you have the right to do things like this But others have the right not to be exposed to it! Why not mark it Porn/adult cache? Funny thing about these "Rights" they come with a lot of responcibilitys that some people tend to forget about. Well its after 2 and I am going to try and get some sleep. Good night. Rick

Well we have just a few of those rattle bugs here in West Texas. I work in surgery and have seen some wild field treatments including a guy cutting his Radial Nerve and artery. One lady just about cut her leg off with a peace of wire that she used to make a tourniquet. Bottom line is to keep calm. A constrictive dressing works,but do not use a tourniquet. Lets go back before you get bit. Some simple things. 1. Hike with a stick. If you are going through brush let the stick go first. 2. Know that you are in their home and watch your manners there. 3. Do not place any body part in areas that you can not see clearly into. Even then use the stick to make sure its clear. 4. Do NOT Run. Easy way to step on or fall into somthing you really dont want to. 5. DO NOT PLAY WITH SNAKES!!! 6. If you go looking for trouble you will find it. 7. Dead snakes CAN BITE AND INJECT!!! 8. They dont always rattle! 9. If you leave them alone but they really are Pi$$ed off they tend to forget what the book said. I have had them come at me with me leaving it alone. 10. The book says they can and will do things its just the ones that do not read the book you have to worry about. In 20+ years of working in surgery I have seen more brown recluse bites than snake bites. I think I would rather have a snake bite. Watch out for the little brown spider. Rick

Dasein, I have worked in surgery for over 20 years and it is still a very dangerous thing to do. We now use blades and needles that we do not have to touch. What we use to do was use clamps that could hold the needle/blade without us needing to come in contact with it. I would suggest that you be VERY VERY VERY careful doing this. It can only take a scratch. Maby you could mark the area and then report it to a park ranger? Rick

Ok, now I know Im going to regret asking this but what type of GPS would you recomend? I would like one that could mark a number of sites and one I could use those marks,or what ever thay are called, and make a map on my computer. Ok now shoot, but be gentle I have never did this before. Rick
