Thanks for the advise. I have come across a number of "missing" TB, and have only reported them in my log. Another thing that I have done is to notify the person that took the TB by email that they need to record the take on the TB page. I have found that people will record in their cache log that they took the TB but do not record it on the TB page.

I do the same thing. I also make notes to put in the personal notes section of the cache. I am not into the "how many caches can I get in a day?" category. I just like to get outside and find new places and see what God has put out there for us to discover.

One of the two I know was missing because the owner told me I had the correct location. What I thought was interesting was that 2 people had a "find" within the next 2 days.

What is the proper way to record a "find" if you find the location, but the cache is not there? This has happened to me twice in my brief career as a cacher. In both cases, I contacted the owner to verify the location and was told that I had the right location. I have recorded these as "did not find" but I did all that I could do.
