  1. We will update GC2ZBPE prior to the start so it is available to all.
  2. Most of what we have done in that area is over by Fort Stevens. Since we cant make it for the cache machine we are going to try and hit the river walk area and bag some of those caches.
  3. The closest trailhead is 47 30.993 122 03.479, the end of Sierra Ct. If you have a Garmin GPSr that takes maps, NW Trails will be a big help (if you have a Delorme there is a link in Switchbacks forums for a mapset that loads in them). Thanks for the info. I do have the NW Trails for my Garmin and have been looking at this on Mapsource and such. I saw this trailhead listed for the Squak Mtn Lookout cache as well as the trailhead at N47 29.687 W122 03.618. Wasnt too sure which one was closer. It looks like the one you suggested has a little less elevation gain. Then again it also looks like from the maps and sattelite images that you can drive right to the lookout cache... Has anyone tried this? Can you actually get all the way to the lookout? There are houses and such not too far down that road so you must be able to get kind of close. Any thoughts?
  4. We are going to try and go for this one Sunday afternoon. Not being very familiar with this area, can someone give me the basics on the best place to park and start from? Any special information I should know about getting there? Thanks in advance!
  5. Is anyone still interested in or working on doing an Anderson Island mini CM this summer? We would really enjoy being involved with such a thing. Thanks!
  6. We found it!!! Whoo Hoo! #9 has been found!!!
  7. This event sounds fantastic! If anyone needs an additional team member I would be happy to join! My wife is afraid she would get too stressed so she is staying out of this one. Let me know if you need an additional team member. Thanks!
  8. Mine is 7434.10 miles. The cache (GCW402 - Jebel Ali Jumble) is in Dubai, UAE. I managed to get two of them there with no GPSr. A very understanding taxi driver, a smartphone with the downloaded maps and sattelite photos, and the cache descriptions saved on the phone got me the finds! I also managed to get one in Amsterdam - 4884.39 (GCXNEC - AMS2 - Nooit Meer...) on a layover on the way home! Not too bad for a business trip...
  9. I believe you have to do it on the TB page under the dropdown menu that reads "recalculate distance". That drop down menu is in the upper right hand corner where you would log the item. Hope that helps Thanks! Yes, that helped. I kept looking all over the page for the cache itself.
  10. Don't mean to sound dumb or anything but as the cache owner how do I move a missing bug to an unknown location? I have looked on the cache listing and can not find anywhere to do that. Thanks for the help!
  11. PocketPC is just the computer, Windows Mobile #### is your operating system on that computer. I have WM5 on my PPC and it works. Another thread says they've tested it down to WM 2003, but not on WM 2002. I haven't seen anything about WM6 yet. I have it running on my AT&T tilt with WM6. Seems to work fine.
  12. I have this working on my Tilt... Just installed it and started the tutorial.
  13. I currently use the AT&T tilt and love it! It is a Windows Mobile 6 device with Wi-Fi and a 3.0 megapixel camera. The device has the built in GPS enabled and with the GeoScout application (see www.navstation.co.uk/geoscout for details on the application) I can go caching anywhere I want and it is all I need. And no, I do not work for GeoScout, AT&T or HTC. I have used the previous versions of this device (HTC 8125 and 8525) but neither of them had the GPS enabled so I had to use a bluetooth GPS with them. That alone made them significantly less user friendly.
