  1. Never heard of that one..... Try calling Garmin My original problem I had discussed seem's to be okay now, I spoke to teck assist at Garmin and actually talked to someone who had heard or the problem, they told me to turn off the WAAS it can cause too much interference or something like that.
  2. Everyone I know with an etrex legend hasn't had any problems with it. However I am now on my second unit and I keep getting the same issue. Not all the time but once in a while it will just shut off, then I'll get blue horizontal and vertical lines on the screen. Has anyone seen this issue before? I've called Garmin, they say they've never heard of that problem, just trying to decide if I just got a bad batch at the store, or should I get a different unit? Anybody... anyone?????? it's driving me nut's, especially when it happens 15 k into the bush...ugh Sharon L.S.L Crew
  3. Personally I love the long hikes into the woods, to find that small container in the middle of nowhere, the things you see are amazing, I did a 15k about 3 weeks ago, it was only about 10 minutes up the road from where I was staying, but I had never known that spot to even be there.
  4. ...And yet you would think that with all that room people wouldn't need to plop caches in parking-lots or cemetaries... In a certain way, yes, but when you think about it, people do not want to go 20 km in the woods to find a piece of tupperware. sure they do, I am doing 30-50km trek just for 2 measley caches soon! (gotta wait for the weekend.. it may take a few days for me to get out of there!) Ok, you win. But I was talking about the average Geocacher. The one that likes nanos under a lamp post skirt. 5. Hey all, I am looking for some people to go out caching with during the day, I live in the east end of Toronto, and I am fairly new at it, if you have a dog great, I have one who seriously needs to come out caching more, because the last cache he came to, he was more tired then the rest of us..Lazy Sam If anybody is interested, maybe we could put together a small crew, or just a couple people. Happy Hunting all! crew L.S.L ( crew LSL is my up north crew of cachers, we cover the kawartha region) Sharon
