I don't understand your complaint at all. You are complaining because somebody responed to a thread without naming you specifically. Too bad, it happens all the time. You are complaining because the Jeep promotion is just in the states? Too bad. Your post seems a bit paranoid to me, but perhaps I am reading it wrong.

But there are some lazy people like me who have bought groups of coins. I have done this two or three times. You won't get top dollar but you might be able to get rid of all of them at once. Edit: Uh, you have too many coins. Better break them up into lots.

FWIW, I work for IT in for the State of Vermont and we had the same thing happen to us. People applying for jobs would get email from us and the applicants started flagging us as spam. The entire domain "vermont.gov" got black-listed on AOL and all our emails went undelivered. I believe it was fixed fairly quickly by AOL but that is probably ONLY because we are a state government. [Edit: Sorry if that was off-topic, I forgot which thread this was. ]

One easy way is to create a sock-puppet account and have that account adopt your caches. You could also have the account grab any TB's or geocoins from you that you don't want showing up in your inventory (although marking them "missing" works well also).

It looks like this I don't know what the yellow box refers to either. Maybe the way the forums were ages ago? Or another forum the poster uses?

I think the reference is to the icon next to the thread if you post in a topic. I am posting here to test the idea.

OP is probably not getting the "geocache" waypoint symbol because they are not premium members and are using a .loc file. (Just a guess)

Re: "Menu>recalculate>off road" I don't have my 60CSx with me but you get different menus depending on the current screen. I do find>find[recent finds]>select waypoint>goto>offroad Then I do quit>quit which takes me to the arrow screen.

The Sirf chip just plain locks on to satellites better than others. My old Etrex Legend would often get NO signal in the woods, I have never had that problem with my 60CSx. It gets more sats in general and thus has better accuracy. It also does the WAAS thing, which also makes for better accuracy.

I pointed out to someone that selling a used Etrex Legend for $140 when you can by them new for $135 was a mistake. He got very angry with me, I didn't really care. I get upset when people come into the forums and try to rob someone.

ummmmm - they ALL were placed after. It was in celebration of SA being turned off that the first cache was placed. ummmmm - I think that was a joke.

I minted 1,000 Vermont coins, this is a state coin so sales are higher than for personals. I sold 800 of these online in about a month. The other 200 I had shipped back to me for distribution in Vermont. I take them to events to sell and intend to place some in caches (both activated and as trade items). I will also be trading some of these for other coins.

I am one who "discovers" TB's and coins. I am not padding my numbers because I really don't care about my TB/coin numbers. I can't tell you offhand how many TB's I have "found/discovered" I can tell you how many caches. To me there is a big difference between the these numbers. That's how I play the game.

Somebody probably already said this, but you spent close to $600 for the unit the maps etc. Spring for the 1G card for another $40. You can load most of the east coast in both topo and CN maps on that card and still have room left over for tracks.
