  1. What was the total number of screw coins minted?
  2. I believe these are long sold out. I paid for mine on 10/6. Sorry AtlantaGal, I'm kinda a newbie to this coin collecting thing and when I see a post for a coin that haven't see before I quickly make a post to try to get some. At the speed that things move around here if I took the time to read the whole thread they'ld probably be sold out! EVERY SECOND COUNTS!
  3. I mean put me on the wait list for 2 silver and 3 bronze. Thanks!
  4. Got mine! Now where do we go to activate these coins? The coin says to go to: www.opticsboy.geocoin.net but I can't find anywhere at that site to activate it?
  5. Just saw the completed list for the Georgia Peach coins. My name WAS on the original list you started to make the 1st day but it is no longer there. I do also have a paid Paypal invoice which is timestamped just 45 seconds after this coin when on sale? Did I somehow get cut from the list???
  6. I'm still somewhat new to this Geocoin craze but the bug already bit me hard. I've only made 2 trades so far but I'm looking to make more. All I have for trade at the moment are Compass Rose Coins. I also have the following coins comming that I'd be willing to set-up trades with: - Wisconsin - Maine - Texas - Mt. McKinley - Opticsboy - Georgia - Delaware - Iowa - Geocachers of West Tennessee Anyone out there in "Geocoin Land" want to help a newby kickstart his collection?? Thanks
  7. How much are they? When will they ship?
  8. I have: Unactivated 2005 Compass Rose coins Looking For Unactivated : - German - Michigan - Maryland - Ohio - New Jersey - Colorado Email me to set up trade
  9. Paid for my order, also didn't see where to put my Geocaching username. I sent email with my username and real name. Thanks! Michael Campion
  10. Just received my 1st batch of unactivated Compass Rose coins. Being that these are the 1st coins I've ever gotten I'm looking to trade for just about any coin thats trackable on geocaching.com. email me with offers. iBrew
  11. Yea, I'm seeing more and more of this. All the archived caches in my area that are still on my watch list have start getting a lot of activity lately. I get 20 or more emails in a row saying that a particular user has "found" these caches that have been archived for sometimes over a year already! They're all back-dated and I just LOVE the synchronic nature of the posts that go along with them. Makes for some GREAT reading. Every log for every cache is the same! "Cut & paste, cut & paste, hey isn't this geocaching great fun and I don't even have to leave the comfort of my owne home!" Cut & paste, cut & paste, "Look I just found 30 more, cut & paste, cut & paste" I don't get it either, seems to me that logging these pseudo finds would just detract from the real finds a true GeoCacher has. But, if it's fun for them, then who am I to say it's wrong. They can play the game however they want to.
  12. Just signed up the whole family (even though I'm probably the only one who's gonna be seeking the caches). It's definitely for a good cause and I have NO problem with Groundspeak, Inc. granting special permission in posting this fundraiser cache event. I was involved in hiding the caches for this event last year at the Tucquan and Boyer Preserves. This year I wanted to play along, maybe even snag one of those GREAT raffle prizes at the picnic! Looking forward to it! iBrew & Crew
  13. Lancaster County Conservancy is once again having a Geocaching Event this year. The event runs from Oct. 1st through the 9th. It is being run as a fundraiser. Here is the link: LCC Geocaching Event
  14. I only listed 3 of 10-15 different caches that I have on my watchlist that I've gotten emails with this type of find posted. They just started to trickle into my email within the last 2 or 3 days.
  15. I've seen several of these posted lately. A bunch of them just came through to my email because the archived caches are still on my watch list. It seems as though people are posting finds for caches that have been archived for some time and saying that the cache owner has approved this find through it's "retirement card"? Just wondering what is a "retirement card" and how they work? Like these: INDY 500 I Like Mushrooms On My Pizza! Clementine
  16. Hi ya all! I'm gonna be in the Friendswood, TX area visiting family starting June 24th and I would like to do a day or two of serious caching while there. Anyone intrested in tagging along with a Yankee Cacher for a day of caching?
  17. Here's a direct link to the cache. Actually I was just thinking about this cache and I'm still trying to find a way to make it work? The land it is on is actually owned by a private company. The big problem was that the original parking coordinates required you to walk along an active railroad track for a bit (which you could possibly get in trouble for. There is a route up the back side of the mountain from the Gordon Nagel Trail (Route 901) Rough coordinates are N40 39.383 W76 12.260. I'm not sure of the condition of the path from this point and I know it is VERY steep climb but it does bypass the railroad tracks. I'm thinking about making it a multi-part cache and forcing prospective cachers up the back side via initial parts to a multi which would be needed to find the final spot. Indian Head Rock
  18. The legend goes: On top of the Gordon Mountain. A woman was murdered and left to die here many years ago. The man who killed her had a distinguishing scar on his face. When you drive up there at night, your car stalls. She walks to the car and checks all the windows for the man. She returns to her rock afterward and continues to brush her hair as she is doing when you first get there. The car will then start
  19. Got it! Happy to grab this one as it wipes a DNF off my list iBrew
