So I have seen MANY threads about how to get a email notification for newly published caches, so here is a step by step list for You to follow.
So the first thing You have to do is become a premium member of www.geocaching.com
Then You must log in to www.geocaching.com
Next click on the "Your Profile" link on www.geocaching.com
Go down the page till on the right side you see "Set Up Notifications" click on it.
From there click on "create"
Then go down the page filling out the page " the name, type, the cords, the distance "from You"
Your done unless You choose to send the notification to another email address
If the email you would like the notification sent to is different then the email for Your GC profile then choose "Add an Additional E-Mail Address to Your Account
If you choose a different email follow the bellow
When You get to the next page enter the email address You would like to add and the password for your GC account.
then log into that email account and validated that email address
Then back to the manage email page and set the action.
If any one knows how to fix the email problem then please reply. the problem is when it sends the validation to you cell phone it shortens the link and you can not validate the email address. any fixes?
