I hate to be exclusionary, but input from the non - Premium Members would be preferable. In retrospect the forums is probably not the best place since the majority here are already PMs.

I am far to new to this site and geocaching to be posting a message to this thread, but perhaps the perspective of a new person will be helpful.. I don’t get this “support the site” argument. This is a commercial site that is supported by a store and a few advertisers I think. It is open to the public and if someone wants the extra benefits that are available from a premium membership they can pay a small amount of money to have them. What is there to argue about? How can anyone call people names if they choose not to avail themselves of the extra benefits?

Nice post SD. I like the suggestion that premium catches revert to regular caches after a specific time automatically (specified by the owner). I read it here in the forums but forgot where, hence no link.
I'm not pro or anti members only caches...(sitting on the fence) but I think this is a cool option that could be implemented if it's in the ptb's ability to do so! Just my 2 cent's.

Oh, and for x-mas my sweetie gave me an extra clip for my "carry" pistol! It's a Bersa Thunder 380. Nice and small but packs just enough punch!

Is that an 1100 or an 11-87?
Mopar C'mon! I thought you knew your firearms. The 11-87 and 1100 (I own one) are both semi-autos. The shotgun in the photo is clearly a pump. Probably an 870.
I own many firearms and also have a ccw here in MI thou I rarely carry. You'll find, after the novelty wears off, that a cw is bulky and uncomfortable. My luck, the one time I'll need it is when I would rather be "comfortable".

Well the winner is in!
Talked my wife into helping me write down all the names for the drawing. When I drew out the winner I was very pleased. This person has been a great supporter from the very beginning. I actually had tears in my eye when I realized who had won (yes the devil the has feelings) Thanks so much for your support of my Grandaughter Spzzmoose, and congratulations on your win. I have a Yahoo! email account I never use and the last time I went there I found over 1000 spam emails. Yahoo! told me my mailbox was full and couldn't accept any more messages. Talk about reinforcing behavior!
I do the same thing. Whenever I have to submit an e-mail address for whatever reason, I always use my "dummy" account. Let the spam congregate in one meaningless location.

So I am getting married in a few weeks, and I found myself thinking... I should turn my wedding into an Event cache! I could post the co-ordinates for the ceremony, and give everyone a time and place and all would be excellent! Of course my wife-to-be wasn't so ambitious, and vetoed the idea pretty quickly (no sense of adventure!)
Besides thinking that I am obsessed with this sport, I also wondered what other kind of whacky events people have done like this.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! DONT DO IT!!!!!!!! Just eat a bullet! It's much quicker than a slooooooowwwwww death by nagging!
