  1. Whenever you move a GPS over a long distance it will take it a while to adjust, (at first it thinks that it is still where it was the last time you turned it off ! .) When you get to wherever it is you are going , Turn on the GPS and leave it somewhere with a clear view of the sky and WAIT ! (sometimes up to a half hour, but be sure , wherever you are the GPS will work it out , ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. even in spain. Have a great trip , hope you find some caches, Best Regards Team Marsh.

  5. I have Ubuntu Linux and use Qlandekarte for my geocaching needs. My only real problem is getting Software updates onto my 60Csx. ( No Webupdater ! ) Any suggestions !!!.

  7. The Simple nswer is NO ! . you can enter waypoints "Inside " , but , if your ETrex is constantly trying to gather sat info , you may find it easier t put the Etrex in "Demo Mode " before you start.
  8. One thought occours to me !! If you are in the UK and using ordnance Survey maps , Your coordinates on paper would be in UTM Whilst Cache coordinates are given in Lat/Lon . I am afraid you would wear yourself out swapping back & forth
