  1. Well, if you are as bad as I am, you'll spend 30 minutes looking for a children's cache! hahaha! sad but true... A lot of what caching is to me is getting out and seeing new places. I enjoy driving to an area that I have never been before. And to make the drive as fun as possible, I travel mostly on my trail bike. When I'min the city I go by bicycle or by foot. It's whatever you make it out to be.
  2. I am often trying to find a cache where I have no cell phone cervices so My only option is a GPS. With that said, I have actually followed my GPS (Garmin etrex 20) until it said the cache was 0 feet, I looked down, and there it was. But What I do most is a phone/GPS team. My Garmin in my right hand and My phone in the left. Having a GPS pays off. I use mine almost every day, even when I'm not out caching.
  3. I'm a little late to this post, but I have the etrex 20... and I love it. But i'm also bias. I had the original etrex when it first came out,and when it died I got the Etrex Legend. i ended uplosing it while trying to find a cache so I just recently bought the etrex 20 and it is amazing! I cache, but I also hunt, fish, hike, run, bike, so on so on. this GPS does everything I could ever want it to do! I am never without it. I even have a motorcycle mount for it.
  4. The onlytime I have ever ran into another cacher was when I was in Utah. It was the farthest cache I have found from my home. I remember looking at him waiting for him to go away so I could find the cache, and he was doing the same thing. it wasn't until he commented on my GPS that we put it together haha
