I havr a wired GPS unit for an IPAQ 39xx not sure if the connection is suitable for you, got it about two years ago in tomtom deal, type number is IC-IPQ38-GPS, if you find it is suitable I could post it monday, send me your addy through my profile. It would of course have to be returned after your holiday other courses open to you are ebay, which on first glance has several possibilities, but never having seen an XDA you would need to check yourself. you could google it, search on XDA GPS tomtom also totalpda.co.uk has several possibilities on first glance. also try http://www.lynks.co.uk/cables.html they may have what you need for the Geko. another possibility is http://www.pc-mobile.net/ that also do cables stay safe Bill

  16. you could check, control panel/system/hardware/device manager, and look under ports to see which com port number your pc has given the serial cable, mine changes every time I use it, and I have to change so they both use same port. hope it helps stay safe Bill
