  1. Beautiful coin! I would also like to trade for one. wowsa! I would like one of these as well. Anyone know who was selling them?
  2. I added my order to the google doc, I think!
  3. I haven't been to a convention BUT we live really close to a small town...Vulcan Alberta. I did do a puzzle cache there in the Vulcan language AND I stopped in at the star base or whatever it's called. There is a Wherigo there as well. Not too far from this town is another smaller town called Ensign.
  4. hehe! I got my sticker yesterday...my oldest son came into the house with the mail asking if I knew someone called 'Lepovetsky' He had a chuckle at your expense I'm afraid. Of course our last name is Hill so how boring can you get? Anyway, I had a great time reading all the entries and maybe, just maybe I'm not as much of a geek as many of those who posted here (phew!)....I'm not really into anything sci fi but I do like a lot of science stuff and techno gadgets. I think I'm more of a dork. I never miss an opportunity to point out the irony in a situation to my family by saying 'Ah the ironing...!' instead of 'ahhh the irony'. I say this at least twice daily..... As far as for cutting the cheese...well I recently bought my younger son the cutest JoeBoxer pj's with a mouse exclaiming "who cut the cheese?" on the front of the shirt. The pants have cheese bits all over them. I tried to get him to model them so I could take a picture but obviously he isn't as big a geek as I am.
  5. Got my #35 yesterday. I think it is the best one yet!
  6. Congrats! OMG! That's great news Chuck! and kinda interesting because I told my husband I would sell mine to someone I knew that really wanted the coin (you) and now I don't have to! YAY! we both WIN!!!! Please give your wife a big hug from me too!
  7. I had to do a little digging. There are only some of Canada's National Parks that are taking part. I did the Geocoin Challenge at Waterton National Park in SW Alberta and I do know that there is one at Grasslands National Park in Saskatchewan. I think all the coins are the same though. Could you post a picture of yours?
  8. That really is too cool and very inspirational for boring people like me. I don't think I could have handled going through that cloud like that as you're basically blind. what a cool idea for a TB too!
  9. Wow Chuck! Great idea and design (did you get the go ahead from Mother nature? ) JK. Anyway...you know fossils of any type are my thing so count me in!
  10. So.. Bad news I missed the sale Good news I was hiking a mountain at the time. Well worth it though I do like the excitement!
  11. My purchase occurs when the 5 days of ordering ends.. that's when I will order from the mint, purchase tracking numbers and pay the icon fee. Glad I changed my mind then So my third guess is Azure Sky (I was going to guess her last time, but other factors made me change my mind - for better or worse) DING DING DING WE HAVE A WINNER!!! Azure Sky had the fastest finger! Congrats Craig! I will send off a color chart in email today and explain the design. Ill even make it simple for you and send a color coded design. After Keewee chooses colors and a plating, I will post that art to this thread. Nooo!! You cant let Keewee choose the colours - he'll just go for all Blacks LOL!
  12. Hey Chuck, that's the GPS Maze Canada coin. Can you believe I did the maze, signed the log...then didn't even look to see if they were selling one? I got one off another Calgary cacher recently for trade. I don't know if you can get them anywhere else. I wish I had some to trade. The back has a MOOSE
  13. I need the name of those coins. I would love to get the dragon one mainly. That's Colonel H. George Cachington Dragon http://www.geocachin...aspx?id=2586504 Correct!! Colonel Cachington's Dragon and Colonel Cachington's Unicorn. Absolutely beautiful!! I can't believe I was able to get them Wow, nice coins! You have definitely had a GREAT month-ish!
  14. I thought I posted this a while back? Maybe not. My first batch of coinmail in 4 months! Some coins I got from the BAD Mega event...
  15. First I've heard of them. Who made/sold them? CF30 that's what I'd like to know! I can't find anything here in the forums about them. There are several activated ones on gc.com, which makes me think they're older. Unfortunately, none of the activated coins' pages says anything about who minted them, how many versions there were, etc. It's moments like these that I don't like the untrackable history associated with these shiny trackable items! There is a blue one on the eplace right now...
  16. August 20,2011 International Geocaching Day!
  17. YAY Anne! Congrats and lovely photo. You are so talented!
  18. I sent you an email regarding a blemish on one of the coins I received. Did you get it?
  19. Oh Crap! that's what happens when you go away for the long weekend... Ah well it looked like fun Congrats to the winner and to Ted for being so gosh darn generousB)
  20. Yes. Here ya go Liz! It is in Australia...all their maps have their continent in the centre, just like we North Americans are in the centre of our maps...if that makes sense? We noticed that after we moved.
  21. There's at least one going to Canada too (not to me though). And I am VERY interested in that 'next project' comment!! I do believe there are two going to Canada at least.....
  22. Well...it's taken a while but two of these are off the listB) I now have the Captain Hook Benchmark coin and a very cool Wizard coin thanks to some very generous coiners.
