I haven't been to a convention BUT we live really close to a small town...Vulcan Alberta. I did do a puzzle cache there in the Vulcan language AND I stopped in at the star base or whatever it's called. There is a Wherigo there as well. Not too far from this town is another smaller town called Ensign.

hehe! I got my sticker yesterday...my oldest son came into the house with the mail asking if I knew someone called 'Lepovetsky' He had a chuckle at your expense I'm afraid. Of course our last name is Hill so how boring can you get? Anyway, I had a great time reading all the entries and maybe, just maybe I'm not as much of a geek as many of those who posted here (phew!)....I'm not really into anything sci fi but I do like a lot of science stuff and techno gadgets. I think I'm more of a dork. I never miss an opportunity to point out the irony in a situation to my family by saying 'Ah the ironing...!' instead of 'ahhh the irony'. I say this at least twice daily..... As far as for cutting the cheese...well I recently bought my younger son the cutest JoeBoxer pj's with a mouse exclaiming "who cut the cheese?" on the front of the shirt. The pants have cheese bits all over them. I tried to get him to model them so I could take a picture but obviously he isn't as big a geek as I am.

Got my #35 yesterday. I think it is the best one yet!

I had to do a little digging. There are only some of Canada's National Parks that are taking part. I did the Geocoin Challenge at Waterton National Park in SW Alberta and I do know that there is one at Grasslands National Park in Saskatchewan. I think all the coins are the same though. Could you post a picture of yours?

That really is too cool and very inspirational for boring people like me. I don't think I could have handled going through that cloud like that as you're basically blind. what a cool idea for a TB too!

Hey Chuck, that's the GPS Maze Canada coin. Can you believe I did the maze, signed the log...then didn't even look to see if they were selling one? I got one off another Calgary cacher recently for trade. I don't know if you can get them anywhere else. I wish I had some to trade. The back has a MOOSE

First I've heard of them. Who made/sold them? CF30 that's what I'd like to know! I can't find anything here in the forums about them. There are several activated ones on gc.com, which makes me think they're older. Unfortunately, none of the activated coins' pages says anything about who minted them, how many versions there were, etc. It's moments like these that I don't like the untrackable history associated with these shiny trackable items! There is a blue one on the eplace right now...

Yes. Here ya go Liz! It is in Australia...all their maps have their continent in the centre, just like we North Americans are in the centre of our maps...if that makes sense? We noticed that after we moved.

There's at least one going to Canada too (not to me though). And I am VERY interested in that 'next project' comment!! I do believe there are two going to Canada at least.....

Well...it's taken a while but two of these are off the listB) I now have the Captain Hook Benchmark coin and a very cool Wizard coin thanks to some very generous coiners.
