I remember there being trackable and non-trackable versions of the Kachekat coins. For the other two coins, there could be an error in the database or an error when the #'s were originally put onto the coin. I've had a coin where I put in the tracking # and a totally different coin came up. And there weren't any digits of that tracking # that could be misconstrued as another digit, like 0 and O or B and 8.

After a successful 2010 Fantasy Baseball season, TeamHaynes has decided to pass the reigns of Commissioner to myself. So, I've set up a Yahoo Fantasy Baseball League. Live draft next week Saturday, March 26th, 10pm Eastern, 7pm Western. If you're not available to draft at that time, set your picks and it'll Auto Pick for you. Head-to-head with roster changes every Monday. I've tweaked the scoring categories a little from last season. For instance, I took out double plays turned, sacrifice hits, and pickoffs, and added a few, such as earned runs and hitting for the cycle (very rare so I thought that should earn a point). First nine people to contact me are in. Each player commits to sending one geocoin to one of the top three finishers at the end of the season. The top 3 won't have to send anything. The top 3 at the end of the season will receive the following: First place - 4 geocoins Second place - 2 geocoins Third place - 1 geocoin I will coordinate sending the coins out at the commencement of the season. I think you have a tsun coin collecting problem, you might need to get help for that I have a Tsun collecting problem as well. Just picked up both the Notorious Geocacher coins on ebay last week. Thankfully, I bought most of Tsun's coins when they first came out but now I'm thinking of trying to get all the various editions of all of Tsun's coins. Will have to think about that though!

Mauison - eBay won't let me bid on your auctions as it claims you won't ship to my location. Is there anyway you can change this please? Thanks. I checked the listings and it says there's no location exclusion so I have no idea why you can't bid. Sorry! The Ships To: only lists "N. and S. America, Europe, Asia, Australia" as localities. When I go to Revise Item, all the locations listed are checked and under the Exclude Shipping Locations section, it says No locations are excluded. I couldn't revise it even if I wanted to though, since there are bids on the items. Sorry!

To the OP, geocoins and TBs go missing fairly often. I've released over 400 geocoins myself, and over 300 of them have gone missing. As others have said, think about how you'll feel if the geocoin you released go missing, and if you think you'll feel sad or mad, don't release it. There are many cheap trackables you can purchase where you might not have that much of a personal attachment to. Hope your coin shows up one day! I've had geocoins go missing for years before showing up again so don't give up hope!

I just tried it and . . . . . . . . It works!!! Yayyy!! Yep, after five months of not being able to retrieve a code, I successfully retrieved one.

It means that the owner hasn't set his/her preference to Yes or No yet. When you activate a geocoin, it's the "default" preference.

I also use Google Docs to keep track of my geocoins so I can access it on any computer with an Internet connection.
