I'm feeling like I need to be a bit clearer here. I don't think its wrong to sell state coins or your own coins but I sure don't like to see people's personal coins sold unless they are the ones selling it. I also don't think its wrong to buy any coin...if one can afford it...more power to ya. Geesh - I placed the bid on the personalized Idaho coin without looking at who the seller was. I thought the name on the coin must be the seller.... Which is why I did bid. I definitely would have held off on bidding (It's the only geocoin I've bid on) if I'd been paying attention. You could always retract your bids. Most people say "the bid amount was wrong or in error".

I'd like to trade for one of my personals geocoins.

Yeah, but that would be more like a trade. And I've tried trading both arms, both legs, and several organs for a first series MB and even that wasn't enough.

The Moun10Bike coins are not for sale. They can either be found in caches or traded with Moun10Bike directly for personal geocoins.

The thing about not letting a group order is that you'll probably end up getting orders from the group members individually. So it's a matter of having to package and ship one order or 30+ individual orders.

I don't see a travel bug as a trade item so as long as you can help it on its way/towards its goal, I don't see a need to trade anything for it.

I believe you have the 2004 and original correct. I think the blank has the 2004 but no number below it. I'll check when I get home.

The cheapest I've seen here in San Jose, CA today is $2.87, up from about $2.67 the day Katrina hit. I expect to see $3.00 soon.

Nope! My coins took a little over 3 weeks from start to finish...although that was before the rush of geocoins they've made since.

If you look at the existing waymarks, there are many others that are location specific. If you live in Hawaii, you may never get to visit these locations, especially since airfare is expensive. Heck, I live in California and may never get to visit any of these places. This waymark category would let people in Hawaii log waymarks without having to leave the islands. It would also give visitors something else to do while visiting Hawaii.

Hawaii Visitors Bureau markers (signs) can be found in the State of Hawaii. They highlight both major and minor places of interest along both state and county highways, streets, and roads. The picture on the sign is King Kamehameha, the first king of Hawaii. Finders would have to take a picture of the sign as well as what the sign is referring to.
