  1. Husband and wife team, he is almost 60, she is 58.
  2. I downloaded a pocket query of the Daytona Beach area caches for I was traveling to that area from Pennsylvania on vacation. I started to look for a cache - Jacobs Island (GCG7YN). The Palm PDA had this as a multi cache but there was nothing in the description as to how this was a Mult. When I returned home to Pa. I saw on the web site that there was instructions on how to make this a Multi. Could it be that the descriptions for some caches are truncated on the pocket queries?
  3. The Travel Channel had one of their 10 Best .... Type show last night. This time it was the 10 Best Treasure hunting sites in North America. Geocaching was #7!! They even had Jeremy Irish hiding a cache!! Maybe it was a stand-in cause he looked nothing like his picture on the Avatar!! Or was this a re-run that I may have missed??
  4. I've been thinking, which is dangerous at my age, there have been discussions in forums about how to tell if a person you meet in the field is a geo-cacher or not. Well, suppose you met someone who is a possible geo-cacher and you made THE sign with your hand and the other person made THE sign with his hand Then you would know. Sort like a non-verbal greeting?? Comments??
  5. When I recieve the pocket queries I get an error message that says something like OE has found a problem with the file and access is denied. I believe OE is Outlook Express. How I get around this is to start forwarding the E-mail and clicking on the file and open it to a file and then I got it. VE HAVE VAYS!!!
