After 105 Hedgehog versions, it is time for a new design. The result is this cute Butterfly. On request, there is now a difference with the Hedgehogs: - XLE editions (20 pcs) - LE editions (30-50 pcs) The LE has less colors and the outer border area is uncolored. The 1st batch is already in production with in total 23 editions. Some are private and some a shop editions which are going to be sold here. There are expected to be finished by early march. Please contact me if you are interested in your own edition. There is a Google docs environment with detailed information, pictures, artwork, etc.

Herewith the pictures of batches 3, 4 and 5. Batch 5 versions N, O, P, Q, R, T, U, V and X will be available soon. Each with 20 pieces. Due to the high demand, there is a limit of 1 edition per person to give everyone a change. All other versions are sold out or private versions.

The fifth batch has been made end last year. In total there are 105 different versions made. I will post some overview pictures here soon. In 1-2 weeks or so, the remaining 9 editions from batch 5 will be for sale here.. That will be the last batch Hedgehogs for now. We are now working on a new project with a very cute butterfly. I will make a new thread about that.

De 'echte' Dutch Geocoin 2012 RE versie is binnen! De fabriek heeft hard gewerkt om het probleem op te lossen en veel eerder dan verwacht een kleine batch afgeleverd. Ze zijn nu hier te koop.

De Dutch Geocoin 2012 is afgelopen vrijdag binnengekomen. Helaas bleek een fout gemaakt te zijn bij de RE versie. In plaats van het vullen van de honingraat alleen, is de gehele achterzijde gevuld met honing. Er komt nog een goede versie van de RE editie (in januari), maar deze 'spilled honey edition is ook beschikbaar. Trackable via Geocaching.com met een eigen icon. De mensen met een reservering, hebben inmiddels een email gehad voor de afronding van de bestelling. De overige zijn hier te koop.

The Dutch Geocoin 2012 is now available. There is a LE (antique silver) edition and there suppost to be an antique bronze edition, but the mint made an error. Since it is very close to Sinterklaas and Christmas, we decided that we keep the 'spilled honey edition' and have a new RE edition made which will be available in January. There is also an AE (antique copper) edition (not for sale). People how made a reservation, already received an email how the order can be completed. They remaining can be found here.

For the Dutch Geocoin 2012, there have been a design and a voting round earlier this year. The chosen design contains Tom Poes and B. Bommel (because of the 100th birthday of Marten Toonder, the founding father) in combination with the Bee and Bever as 2012 is also the year of the bee ánd the bever. The artwork is ready now. Samples are being made. As soon as the samples are ready, there will be a reservation option here. The coins are expected to be available around 2nd week of november.

There was a miscommunication. I just learned that there will be a generic 12-12-12 souvenir, not specifically for this multi-event. Everyone who logs a cache on that day, will get the souvenir, but for events which will happen in the weekend before or after, that does not work. They won't get the souvenir. A bit disappointing....

I got feedback grom Groundspeak that they are working on a Souvenir for the Multi-event. :D

Colors have been added to the overview. As we asked a little different filling, we have shared the color selection already with Michael. We hope to get the artwork soon. We share the coin with an event in the Den Helder (the Netherlands).

We have sent in the colors and waiting for the artwork. Some questions popped up for the event and coin: - Will there be a banner or souvenir for the multi event? - Will there be an icon for the coin?

Is there a name convention for the event? So something like: 12-12-12 multi event - <city/country>

For some time now, the Hedgehogs know how to find us. And indeed, after we've left a small dish with milk, not much later, they arrived! Three already left again to continue their journey. The others are having a great time enjoying the milk and the environment. Soon we will look for new homes because they cannot all stay here. --------- Model A and B are for CacheZone Buxtehude. Model C is for CacheBoutique Model D till M will be available here. They will become available in the coming weeks. The names will be made available soon.

Yesterday afternoon, they went online. The RE editions are sold out. A few of the two special editions (Dutch and Farmers) are still available. They can be found here.

Welcome to geocaching! If it is a geocoin or travelbug, there should be somewhere 'track at geocaching.com' on the item. The code is identifying the trackable item (a 6 digit/letter combination). The intention is that the item is moving to a next geocache. You can find out the owner and the journey of the trackable here: www.geocaching.com/track Edit: I noticed, that you are geocaching member since 2007, so you probably must know what a trackable item is. Maybe check with the owner of the trackable item what the code is about.

Als de PC geen enkele GPS herkent is er wellicht iets met de USB poort of kabel. Heb je een andere poort en USB kabel geprobeerd?
