  1. I found out what was happening...The caches I was loading were to far from the last place my GPS had coordinates so they were not displaying. I'll have to start reading the manual and figure out how to change that option. Thanks for the help!
  2. Hey guys, I just got a Garmin 60Cx and was attempting to send the waypoints to my unit from geocaching.com using the "Send to GPS" button. I have all the drivers installed and when I hit send sight says it was sent successfully, but I can't seem to find the waypoint on my unit! Does anyone know where the waypoint appears after being sent? Thanks for your patients!
  3. Which has to do with the subject at hand... how? Back on subject - if you're that close, you're bound to know someone, or at least a FOAF, who works in the mother ship. I'd get it into their hands, and see what they can do. An insider will get further than an outsider. Exactly, I don't care if Steve Jobs caches (although it would help in this case), I'm just making an attempt to help a travel bug on it's way...isn't that what part of this hobby is about? On another forum someone from the local area suggested an in so I'm going to go for it and see what happens. Thanks
  4. Thanks for the on topic tip Walruz! I'll try those forums instead.
  5. Silly questions, but it has a relevant connection... I was out caching at lunch today and found a cache that has a travel bug called "Byte My Apple". It began in Oregon from an elemtary school class tech project in the hopes of making it to the hands of Steve Jobs (Apples CEO). What is most relevant is I found this in a cache about 15 miles from Apple's headquarters. I decided that I could help this cache along by at least getting it within a mile, but felt compelled to also compose an email to his executive staff in the hopes it will filter through to him. I just thought that knowing if geocaching was an interest of his or not might make the difference in the emails context. Thanks for any answer
