Gas, Car, Insurance etc....are considered to be part of a budget for most people. Granted gas prices increase and decrease but its still part of a budget. Going to a park that charges a fee is just a form of a user tax. I'm willing to bet that PBS only get about 10 percent of there funding from taxes. I'm also willing to bet that parks get about 70% of there funding from taxes. its untheical and illegal for poor management of funds if you ask me.

But the "rules" of the cache page says you can only log it once.... I'm not saying that the cacher that "found" the cache 2x is in the wrong! I'm saying that the owner of the cache is wrong for poor cache ownership. Its his rules....should be his responsiblity to maintain the cache to the rules posted on the page. But if you want to "spin" it thats fine......lets say that the "location found" was the location that a 12 yr old kid found, took a picture of it, and tried to log it...... since this 12 yr kid plays by the rules......then find out she can't log it because another cache found the same exact "location or item". Is that fair to another cacher??? NO its not!!!! also what is to prevent a person from logging this same cache 100's of times??? (hmmm....watch out cachers and that record is going to fall for #'s of finds in a day) **just because this is an easy cache....doesn't make the problem any less of an issue***

I'll give him that....but maintain your cache!!!! On your cache page it says you can only log the locationless ONE time... now...to be a jerk about this.... Because it costs more than the taxpayers spend to maintain and operate them. I do agree that some of the fees for primitive camping (I think it's $12/night in Indiana state parks) seem to be unjustified. I knew the answer to my ??..... I didn't want to express my views on this......but now I will. Why not ask for donations or memberships vs. user fees...... I personally think that there has to be a few individuals that can't enjoy an park because they can't afford the park fee. Compare it to PBS..... I don't have to pay upfront to watch it...but they do ask for "members"...... I know I'd like to be a supporting member of the national park service...even if I don't want to travel that far to get to one except for 1 every 3 or 4 yrs.

If its an urban hide.... I don't take a shower for a few days, grab my old jacket, torn jeans, and have a cardboard sign that says wil work for food. Everybody leaves me alone and I sometimes get some "beer" money.

I'd find a pile of these....and put a cache inside of one.....or make something that looks like one....

heh... NO!!!! You gotta be kidding!!!!(it would be like most of the other B.S. crap in the book) It wouldn't be that hard to find some bike path and have a "new cache" set up every tenth of a mile just for breaking the record. hmmmmm..... King Boreas....we have some work to do here in Minnesota......

Maybe this is a good time ....to bring up the fact that "lexan" is a good product for "clear" cache containers..... I'm sure it won't help....... (much).
